  1. The Chinese girls competing for the Changchun Normal University....that's a shame, I was hoping for a Weird University
  2. And we're live at the cross-country skiing Vamos Bruna
  3. Nice super-G course
  4. Samir Azzimani got 315 and 314 points at competitions in Dvorista this weekend...getting closer to the limit.
  5. No idea who that guy is by the way, I didn't see the guy who I know is travelling with her (sort of the 'manager' from the Brazilian snow sports federation)
  6. By the way, nice that they mentioned her heart problem that forced her to stop mountain biking (or even being an athlete, until Jaqueline Mourão managed to get her a surgery), now I know why they were asking those questions to athletes in the past weeks...it wasn't for their profiles, but for the commentators
  7. She sent me a photo with that hat last night, I thought she meant every flag bearer would be wearing that
  8. Even though it'd be one of the highlights of my life, I don't exactly see a medal happening at this Universiade In the future...maybe
  9. Oh come on they could have shown her a bit more "Favourite to win a cross-country medal", uhm, did I miss something?
  10. There's Bruna
  11. Austria Azerbaijan Belarus Belgium Brazil Alright, just so I know when to pay extra attention
  12. Parade of Nations Afghanistan, cold greetings to you my friends
  13. That blonde talking dude looks like Anders from Workaholics
  14. It's 19:13, give them a break
  15. I thought last time the ceremony was held on a much smaller scale, not in a stadium but in front of a small podium out in the open....I'm glad this time it's in a full-on stadium
  16. This reminds me of the Nomad Games
  17. I think it'd be hard to spend some time together considering athletes can stay in the athletes village and normal people like me can't That's the same or worse at the Olympics, I know, but that'd be a whole different level of 'special' so I'd go there anyway
  18. The first time ever I'm a bit nervous for an opening ceremony But in a good way
  19. I thought I was watching South Park, turns out it's the CEO of KIA Australia giving a speech
  20. It was a bit weird: a lot of points and rallies were awesome, a lot of games were awesome and seriously exciting, but the sets were much less exciting
  21. Holy moly, Federer is hitting the turbo
  22. What a run for Shiffrin
  23. Finally, the WR of that Japanese guy who never ever performed anything noteworthy after that is gone
  24. That's her big goal, yes. The problem is that Jaqueline Mourão so far has a much lower amount of FIS points and as @dcro has pointed out to me on numerous occassions, getting two quotas is gonna be very, very hard for Brazil and requires both of them getting under 100 FIS points average. It's a shame of Bruna's injury since the beginning of January which definitely affected her. Next month she finally gets her first real chance to compete against Mourão directly on snow (at the WCH), but it's hard to say if it will be a fair fight considering the physical problems of the past weeks.
