  1. This weather yesterday I can understand the cancellations
  2. Miriam Neureuther (Gössner) will quit biathlon and focus only on cross-country from now on. "I've never been the best shooter and nowadays you basically need to shoot clean...especially being a mom, I simply don't have the time that I need to improve my shooting, but I still have a lot of fun skiing, so I'm going to focus on that."
  3. Speed Skating ISU European Championships 2018 Kolomna (RUS) - 5 January 2018 - 7 January 2018 Totallympics Results Thread
  4. I've been wondering that since the beginning (I know the races count for the World Cup as well, but I'd say it might be easier/better readable to keep it simple there and focus the Tour de Ski things in the Tour de Ski thread ) I started thinking it was a rule, so joined for a moment in this game of posting it in two threads
  5. Barry Hearn: "My only nightmare for darts is to find a Chinese boy who throws a nine dart finish in every leg, killing the game." http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/othersports/article-5227111/Show-without-Phil-Power-Taylor.html
  6. And we're underway as planned with stage 5.
  7. And we're underway as planned.
  8. Kei Nishikori and Andy Murray have both withdrawn from the Australian Open. Just a few more withdrawals and Robin Haase might have a title shot
  9. At least winter is actually winter
  10. For now it looks like stage 5 will go ahead as planned.
  11. Probably because Megan Tandy has had some really good showings in the IBU Cup, she deserves another chance on the highest level.
  12. Fantastic skiing and 1+4 or so incoming
  13. Shiffrin's last part
  14. Podium for Hansdotter
  15. Who cares if the conditions are horrible for everyone? Better than perfect for 90% and horrible for 10%
  16. Sort of like Meillard then.
  17. What's wrong with it?
  18. And some news to start off 2018, not long before the Marrakesh round: Neel Jani made his debut last month in Hong Kong, but has now decided to leave Dragon Racing after one weekend due to 'unforeseen changes' (without going into details). https://www.motorsport.com/formula-e/news/jani-leaves-dragon-formula-e-after-hong-kong-992386/ PS: I opened this thread instead of posting it in a general 'auto racing thread', because I wanted to open a thread for this. So, a conscious choice to open this thread.
  19. Formula E 2017 - 2018 Multi-Stage Event - 2 December 2017 - 15 July 2018 The calendar as it stands now: The last double header was meant to be in Montreal, but they have recently withdrawn their support and a replacement is still being looked for.
  20. Nice job from Gallhuber
  21. Severe weather, in this case a rather strong storm. Sadly it was impossible to continue the events today, so it has all been cancelled and it's now a matter of waiting what happens with the women's Q result.
