  1. Not as memorable as Delpo's win after years and years and years of misery Well I hope you can cheer for two sets
  2. Yes, poor Novak and his number of Grand Slam titles that's so big every individual one by itself almost isn't memorable anymore because it's just one of many
  3. Wow, Courtney is coming back!
  4. Neff is having a very hard time.
  5. I cannot stress how much I agree with this Every time I am writing something about rowing or in this case doing predictions, I have to open two extra pages just to know what M2+ or LW4x or something is (even worse in the case of writing something in Dutch, then I have to translate it to Dutch too )
  6. This is Nuno Bico, who has broken his collarbone in this fall. Thank you dog and thank you dog's owner.
  7. Quick, make vaulting Olympic
  8. I think 15 for the winner and 15 maximum for points difference is still out of balance, but better than the old system. No matter the results and point differences, someone who predicted the correct winner should always have more points than someone who predicted the wrong winner.
  9. Today's final climb is pure madness. A new climb for the Vuelta, and see those averages....those are including a few short pieces of flat and even a short downhill at the start of the last kilometer. There are parts of 20% everywhere and in the last kilometer there is a part of....32% RIP peloton
  10. Plus Delpo winning the title would be a 5654497865 times more awesome story than Djokovic winning his godknowshowmanyth title
  11. Those were some incredibly anticlimactic semi-finals
  12. Major stuff going on in terms of hurricanes... First off, Hurricane Isaac (which is probably gonna be the name today or tomorrow) is setting course to the Caribbean, where for now it's scheduled to arrive Wednesday/Thursday as category 2. Helene has formed and might be on it's way to the US or Caribbean, it's too early to tell but it's got some potential. Hurricane Florence is a major threat. Early in the week it looked like Bermuda was in trouble, but that seems to be alright for them, but the US east coast should prepare for possibly a major hit of a category 3 or even 4 hurricane next week. Typhoon Mangkhut is gonna cause a ton of trouble on the other side of the world....expected to grow into at least a category 4 with wind speeds of nearly 250 km/h (almost category 5). The thing is, this is expected for Tuesday morning and it's for now expected to make a 100% full hit on Guam...that is going to be very, very dangerous. It'll grow even stronger after that and set course to Taiwan or the Philippines.
  13. One of the biggest legends in women's track cycling, one might say... The way she sounds ("My opinion is accepting a situation as fast as possible makes it easier to deal with it") gives me some hope she'll definitely fight to make the most of it. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised to see her at the Paralympics.
  14. And GSM Del Potro due to retirement for Nadal, his second retirement at a GS.
  15. Nadal said he's gonna retire after this set.
  16. Today: Michael Matthews hears he is, for whatever bullshit reason, not picked for the world championships.......then goes on to dominate the sprint in the GP Quebec
  17. We're well into September and thanks to the GP Quebec I now suddenly discover Kennaugh is riding for BORA since this year
  18. Thiem might as well leave her if this is already a cause for problems
  19. heywoodu 1. Michal Kwiatkowski (2) - 2 2. Dylan Teuns (67) - 69 3. Elia Viviani (1) - 70 4. Wilco Kelderman (20) - 90 5. Matteo Trentin (172) - 262 6. Giacomo Nizzolo (11) - 273 7. Omar Fraile (5) - 278 8. Peter Sagan (2) - 280 9. Simon Yates (9) - 289 10. Danny van Poppel (6) - 295 11. Alessandro de Marchi (1) - 296 12. Ivan Garcia (152) - 448 13. Pierre Rolland (59) - 507 14. Nairo Quintana
  20. It takes a special kind of moron to bring a dog to an event like that and an even more special kind of moron to let it loose. Unbelievable.
  21. Yeah, Serena is not inspiring enough yet with her hundred million titles.
  22. Dogs at cycling races
  23. Yeah but it's WTA and Serena Williams. 6-1, 6-0.
  24. That would be so awesome, but I'm expecting 6-1, 6-0 or something
