  1. What the fuck. Match cancelled.....and Esperance is declared the winner!?!? What the hell, seriously. This is unreal
  2. Stuff is happening!

  5. Oh I missed that, I just tuned in when I saw the match was interrupted
  6. But how would replaying the entire game be fair? What's wrong with restarting (now or at another date) from the 63rd minute with a 1-1 score? Replaying the whole thing seems rather unfair to Esperance, not counting the goal is unfair to Wydad.
  7. Odd. I find it hard to imagine Dutch TV would know more than BEIN Sports about this, but I find it even harder to imagine a commentator would just make that up
  8. @thepharoah Dutch commentator says "They're going to look whether or not VAR can be used relatively soon, if not, this match will be replayed" Anything similar on Egyptian TV?
  9. So CAF president was there, nothing changed. Referee went to the VAR screen (finally!) for 10 seconds, went back to the pitch.....and nothing happened
  10. The referee's watch says 00:00 and it's not midnight yet. I think that's the problem
  11. Oh and police should go in and pull out that idiot with his dumbass laser pen
  12. And rightly so...if you let this go and just go play, you're just saying "ok I don't care we got f*cked and might lose a shot at the title because of this".
  13. Lol, CAF president himself will come down and 'take the decision on what's gonna happen next' Wonderful Friday evening entertainment
  14. One possibility seems to be a technical problem with the VAR or something, which would explain why it's taking forever. Maybe.
  15. Apparently the return in the final of the CAF Champions League has now been stopped for almost 20 minutes. Something about what looks like a perfectly fine goal by Wydad Casablanca - which would have tied the game 1-1 in the 63rd minute - not being counted, because 'offside'. Looks like Esperance Tunis wants to play, but Wydad doesn't. First game ended in 1-1 by the way.
  16. It makes me feel like a happy excited kid again. I wonder if watching a good match of XV rugby is the same for those rugby fans
  17. I am cheering for that 0.01%. We are the 0.01%! What do they have to do in order to make it?
  18. Nah, as a rugby noob I'm pretty sure people who actually understand strategy and who actually have a clue what's going on very much appreciate XV, more than Sevens. Much like as a speed skating fan I actually adore the 10k, whereas newer audiences who aren't really familiar with it all think "this takes longer than 30 seconds, boooooring"
  19. Luis Mendonça of Portugal, cyclist.
  20. Oh, absolutely. Sevens is perfect for me, during regular rugby I generally just let my attention slip away and end up missing pretty much everything
  21. Good thing I'm not a reguler XV watcher I guess, generally I find that one to be rather dull and slow-moving and I enjoy 7's a lot more Although I guess both have their charms.
  22. Oh oh! Can I place some money on a Taschler?! Edit: longer than 5 years ago, shorter than 10 years ago apparently. I am so going for Taschler.
  23. Which one is the one that worked well, the 25-year old?
  24. Oh come on, she's barely started..
  25. You're trying to tell us these are not photographs?
