  1. Sounded pretty fluent to me, almost native.
  2. I'm fairly sure my Dutch accent is a lot stronger than for example @Vojthas's Polish accent, of which I was surprised it was (to my untrained ear) almost non-existent
  3. But doesn't every browser nowadays add the www automatically if needed when you enter the URL?
  4. Today I learned....Euro is the currency in Montenegro.
  5. Yeah I can perfectly understand that, no worries Definitely meant as a bit of constructive feedback
  6. Belmonte is an Olympic champion? I'll be damned I hope Valentin gets it exactly for the reason you mentioned.
  7. I don't know what's worse, a losing presidential candidate saying that when coming by to express his condolences, or a former president so blatantly trying to push down the press..
  8. Still better than the idiotic 'dub dub dub' I don't know why anyone would pronounce the whole 'www' (in whatever form) anyway nowadays, but fine
  9. Not so bad, is it? Too bad those on the left and right of the bottom row aren't showing the t-shirt, that looks promising with mostly yellow. I'm mostly not a fan of the one in the top left and also, what's with the all-red? Anyway, at least there's a lot of Brazilian colours, which automatically makes it better than the biathlon and cross-country skiing crap the Brazilians have to wear.
  10. Eight.
  11. Epke Zonderland (gymnastics), icon of Dutch sports (at least nationally) and a more than excellent character outside of the arena.
  12. Which is why I'd definitely be in favour of MTB downhill, that's pure racing.
  13. RIP Totallympics Weekly Update podcast where they were named as brothers
  14. MTB downhill isn't. I agree about slopestyle though.
  15. Yeah and their 2nd and 3rd and 4th best cyclists as well But still, come on. Countries with the potential for a combination of awesome scenery and hard routes are rare, Norway is one of them and then we got this..
  16. I enjoyed the podcast Minor suggestions: - Try to lower the volume of @Vojthas's part a bit, I had to take out my phone and change volume multiple times now - I would suggest to make some things (like World Cups with a high number of events) a bit less like a sum-up of results, and more like a 'story' - mention a few upsets or other special things, something like that
  17. @Sindo Is it Totallympics or Totallylympics? That's as far as I got (15 seconds) before being too annoyed by the rather loud train I'm in. I'll listen the rest on the much more quiet walk to work
  18. Six ways of listening to the podcasts mentioned, six ways I don't have/use Alright, let's see which one to get.
  19. @Skijumpingmaster Norway has some mountainous terrain, right? How on earth did the Tour of Norway organizers manage to come up with a route that made basically every stage end in a mass sprint?
  20. Damn..only last month he won a stage in one of the more prestigious stage races for juniors. https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/course-de-la-paix-junior/2019/stage-4
  21. Better luck next time, the Tour is coming up soon

  23. The people who are good at it and the 'flag brigade' who cares for any good result even if it's in sports they really couldn't care less about, as long as it's from people with the right flag
