  1. Former biathlete Herbert Cool (Eurosport commentator in the Netherlands) also works for Eurosport in the MotoGP world outside of the winter, as pit reporter since this season. In Mugello this weekend he suddenly heard someone yell "Herbie!!"....and was surprised to see Dorothea Wierer Both were basically equally surprised to see each other there
  2. Wait what, Serbia just completely blew up? Or (according to the co-commentator) did they pass a line/break some rule or something?
  3. Seemed to me Joshua sort of had it under control, until he knocked Ruiz down without knocking him out....Ruiz was pissed And from then on, basically unstoppable
  4. Finals are starting now, live on worldrowing.com

  6. Yeah I think the past months will turn out to be a valuable lesson for him for next year: don't try and be in top shape for all those small tours in the run-up to a Grand Tour, dominating in February or March or something isn't gonna help.
  7. Wow, one would never expect Russia to do such a thing.
  8. Yeah, if Roglic doesn't get some major bad luck or something, 3rd place should really not be a problem If Roglic actually has a really good day and Nibali doesn't, 2nd place is not even entirely impossible. Edit: I just notice now it's only 17km, yeah forget the potential 2nd place unless Nibali has some terrible luck
  9. Whatever it may be, definitely a right call to give a penalty, that's the most important thing
  10. The ball was pushed down with his arm. It may be dumb, it may be bad luck, fact is it severely influenced the situation and really the only possible option was a penalty. They'd definitely give a penalty if it was for example the 75th minute, there's zero reason to do anything different just because it was literally the first minute.
  11. Yeah, pretty dumb by that Tottenham guy.
  12. Zandvoort's main thing is definitely the Tarzanbocht/Tarzan corner, a rare corner where you've actually got two perfectly fine but totally different lines, which makes it the prime spot for overtaking.
  13. This guy seems to be the kind of guy who goes "oh wow, overtaking!!" at circuits like Baku, where the only possible overtake (basically) is a DRS-aided overtake on the straight based on pure power instead of skill. I don't take those very seriously Yeah it's definitely hard at Zandvoort, but even in Monaco we've seen it's possible and in way more interesting ways than the standard DRS.
  14. Sadly I really don't think Moscow cares much about ambassadors from countries like that (or the Netherlands or *insert any random small country*) being recalled.
  15. Correction: they are massing on what they think is the border, but what in fact is simply a sign "Welcome to the Netherlands" we cleverly placed somewhere in some random forest far away from the border, because the Belgians won't notice anyway and invade themselves.
  16. 6th match of the Dutch Basketball League Tour of Norway stage 5 After I finished that, it's time to launch the Eurosport Player and skip through the qualifying of Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP followed by the Red Bull Rookies Cup race. Then tonight CL final and the first of two IndyCar races in Detroit.
  17. Stupid Swedes, annexing capitals of other nations
  18. Yay, less athletes in World Cup races, finally, that's what everybody wanted! ??
  19. Mild reaction. There's a reason why he's called Superman
  20. Eternal nothing for Landa
  21. Lopez should have punched him over the barrier
  22. Yep, looks like it was one of those running assholes.
  23. Karsten Kroon: "That was not a punch by Lopez, that was a bitch slap"
