  1. Some rather surprising countries advancing!
  2. My personal finalists: , , , , , , , , ,
  3. I honestly felt that it was rather uninteresting!
  4. Great stuff, @dcro! I'm back on the half marathon plan. Have struggled a bit with injuries during the year but I'm at 16 km so far meaning that it's getting retty close. I don't expect to get close to my PB from the first lockdown, but about 2 hours should be possible and just making it through a half marathon mass run will be great!
  5. With TISC done, here are some of the other Danish songs considered: These 2 were also in the top 5 for both @Wumoand I: And the last 2 in my top 5 including my personal winner:
  6. Let's just say that there wasn't much doubt about that 1st place in this 2 person jury!
  7. Denmark 1st Croatia Croatia 12 Italy 11 Ireland 10 Hungary 9 Czech Republic 8 Lithuania 7 Poland 6 New Zealand 5 United States 4 Finland 3 France 2 China 1 This concludes the votes from the Danish jury. Huge congratulations to the winners!
  8. Denmark 2nd Italy Italy 11 Ireland 10 Hungary 9 Czech Republic 8 Lithuania 7 Poland 6 New Zealand 5 United States 4 Finland 3 France 2 China 1
  9. Denmark Good evening and thank you all for a great show! Here are the Danish votes 3rd Ireland 4th Hungary 5th Czech Republic Ireland 10 Hungary 9 Czech Republic 8 Lithuania 7 Poland 6 New Zealand 5 United States 4 Finland 3 France 2 China 1
  10. You do know that there are quite a few FIFA opponents in here right? Besides? Why complain about not going to Qatar? Those championships shold not have been!
  11. It's nice to know that Russian propaganda works somewhere. In fact the US cares less and less about Russia, switching the focus to China. Even to NATO allies the future for the defensive alliance in Europe seemed more uncertain, especially considering that Trump could very well become president again. The invasion of Ukraine has changed that, but the question is for how long. You still see quite a few conservatives not giving a damn about the situation.
  12. I think there's a decent shot at a squad at about the same size as in Tokyo, possibly slightly larger, mainly helped by us getting 2 handball teams. Pretty worried by swimming and rowing, though!
  13. Seriously? One person is responsible : Putin!
  14. Believe me, we have had high hopes for those two and felt damn sad when Rajbek didn't make it. They're in much better time now it seems. I have no idea about how it is, but I know that figure skating has some way as well as we had Nikolaj Sørensen and Laurence Fournier Beaudry participating under the Danish flag eveen though Laurence was Canadian (and well, now they both are). I do find it rather odd myself.
  15. It's funny. You're the third person telling me that even though it's in a week. Hungary is the election to watch this sunday.
  16. The family fled to Denmark when he was 6, so yeah, pretty much Danish raised. But yet to become Danish citizen. I read somewhere that he is up for one of the required tests this summer meaning it should be possible to become citizen withing a year or so (In fine time for Olympic qualification unlike his big brother who sadly couldn't qualify for Tokyo)
  17. One thing I notice just now is the equestrian schedule. I have a hard time seeing eventing in 4 straight days with those sessions? Jumping is clearly last again (individual on day 8 and team on day 11) considering the 2½ hour sessions. What are your thoughts, @dcro?
  18. I'm happy that they don't, but it felt more like a one-time thing!
