  3. well, probably you're right... still, De Coubertin requires the other teams' presence, too...
  4. 5. and finally the Olympic Champion is also the World Champion! Gold for Diana Bacosi and Italy in the last event of the 2019 Worlds... and with this Gold, Italy also win the Final Medal Table... Women's Individual Skeet Gold: Diana Bacosi Silver: Wei Meng Bronze: Victoria Larsson Final Medal Table, here (They removed the Double Trap competitions -except for the Men's Individual event- from the official Medal Table): https://www.issf-sports.org/competitions/venue.ashx?cshipid=2811
  6. it took 2 days (because of yesterday's rain), but finally New Zealand did again! huge surprise in Manchester, where India came just short and had all of their batsmen eliminated before reaching the required 240 runs... too many early wickets fallen for the Asians, maybe a slight excess of conservative play in the mid of their offensive innings (especially by Dhoni, a few of his "1" could have been "2") did it for the Kiwis, who are going to play their second consecutive world cup final... we must also say that the last few overs played yesterday when it was already heavily raining favoured the New Zealand's batsmen, who scored a lot of "Fours" thanks to the wet grass...runs that probably would have been less if it was a sunny day (or at least not a rainy one)... by the way, that's how it went... final score, New Zealand (239 / 8 in 50 overs) win by 18 runs over India (221 / all out in 49.3 overs)

  13. correct, the Junior Europeans should not be considered for what concerns the OQ times...
  14. well, you know...he's the superstar of the game... he still is an amazing athlete and has this unbelievable streak going... there's no doubt about it... but... but, as many greats in any sport, sometimes his results go beyond what he actually does on the mat (not that I'm saying anything new or accusing him to not deserve the success he has had in the past and still has right now)... I guess it's part of the modern sport system... and I accept it, but I like to let people know that there's still someone noticing that...
  15. I just discovered that Lance Armstrong is part of the NBC Sports crew covering the Tour de France in the USA... and I just found this interesting interview he made for them...
  16. do I really need? I mean, it's quite obvious that I'm saying that a few of those wins did come thanks to some favourable calls by the refs and the video judges...
  17. yeah, to @hckosice for his great, amazing job on this thread... this time it's not just like many other times with other content...this time it's really a monstrous effort...

  20. well, this year only the Edmonton stage (July, 21st) of the Mixed Relay Series is still to be completed... and if they keep the same calendar of 2019 also in 2020, only the first stage (Dubai, this year) of next year's series will be included in the Mixed Relay's OQP... so, it should be just 2 races left before the end of the MR OQP...
