  1. that rule was amended a few years ago...I remember 3 shooters from 1 Nation in the final also the last time in Changwon...

  3. I'm not on facebook... the olympic channel is OK for the live broadcasts, the problem is that replays are only available on PCs and not on connected devices apps (like android tv system, amazon firesticks or apple tv boxes), which are a lot more comfortable to be usewd on big TV screens...
  4. Great competition by Danilo Sollazzo, it was quite a while Italy got their last world medal in rifle shooting (Petra Zublasing in Granada was the last one)... on the other hand, Sofia Ceccarello is completely lost...the dramatic elimination with that (infamous) last shot in the first event of last year's Olympics has totally blown her mind out...now she's just shooting at the moon instead of hitting the targets...
  5. Men's Individual 10m Air Rifle Gold: Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil Silver: Danilo Dennis Sollazzo Bronze: Sheng Lihao Olympic Quota (to the NOCs, NOT to the shooters): Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil, Danilo Dennis Sollazzo, Sheng Lihao, Jiri Privratsky
  6. it's only on the Olympic Channel, unfortunately...

  8. Mixed Team Junior 50m Prone Rifle Gold: China 2 Silver: Czech Republic Bronze: United States 1
  9. how to kill once and forever the already declining interest for the Games... the Olympic are the Olympics also (maybe, mainly) because they have so many sports all together at the same time in the same place... having multiple host, split program or making them too long (or too short) would only meke them worse...
  10. Canada! really surprising outcome in the men's Scratch race... Pinazzi made a capital mistake trying to close down on Grondin with about 5 laps to go, then he didn't have anything left in the tank in the final sprint...
  11. by the way, very disappointing night so far... I expected 2 gold medals from Barbieri (who spent too much in the early stages and with that move to edge Valente out in the forelast elimination) and from the boys of the men's team pursuit, where we paid the slow start (not having Lamon in the final wasn't a good idea) and the hour record attempt by Ganna last Saturday (he didn't have the last km he had in Tokyo, unfortunately)... let's see what happens with the women's team pursuit (if they don't go below 4.10 it's a huge disappointment)...
  12. I'd be very disappointed if they don't improve a lot...all the girls are still young and Guazzini is going to be the new Ganna, I hope. now we have at least 6/7 girls to choose from who could/should be the core of the team for the next 2/3 Olympic cycles. the only risk is that our girls start thinking too much to the road races (they are already a very successful group also in that discipline).
  13. I think in the top 4 it's gonna be 3X GER vs FRA/GBR...
  14. Olympic Champion Kelsey Mitchell already out in the round of 16!
  15. Final Medal Table (Team Event included) 1. 6 / 4 / 3 2. 2 / 1 / 1 3. 2 / 0 / 0 4. 1 / 1 / 3 5. 1 / 1 / 1 6. 1 / 1 / 0 7. 1 / 0 / 3 8. 1 / 0 / 0 9. 0 / 2 / 1 =10. 0 / 1 / 1 =10. 0 / 1 / 1 =12. 0 / 1 / 0 =12. 0 / 1 / 0 =12. 0 / 1 / 0 =15. 0 / 0 / 2 =15. 0 / 0 / 2 =15. 0 / 0 / 2 =15. 0 / 0 / 2 =19. 0 / 0 / 1 =19. 0 / 0 / 1 =19. 0 / 0 / 1 =19. 0 / 0 / 1 =19. 0 / 0 / 1 =19. 0 / 0 / 1 =19. 0 / 0 / 1 =19. 0 / 0 / 1

  20. Day #8 Today's medal matches are: Mixed Team Event Bronze Medal match #1: China vs Germany Bronze Medal match #2: Netherlands vs Israel Gold Medal match: France vs Japan
  21. in the Mixed Team event (the last of the World Champs), France vs Israel and Japan vs Germany are the semifinals' pairings. still in competition (in the repechage round), China vs South Korea (winner against JPN vs GER loser for bronze) and Netherlands vs Ukraine (winner against FRA vs ISR loser for the other bronze).
