  1. All show and no respect: a night with the Nickheads Shame on you Sydney Morning Herald! How dare you not support the Australian fans of the Australian player in the Australian tournament! Even people from less democratic countries know better.
  2. The AO organizers are drooling for the Williams - Osaka 1/2, but Simona to make the greatest Slam run in years!
  3. Ha, is this a tradition on the Tour de la Provence? Like isn't there snow, i mean a lot of snow there at this time of year
  4. God, how i hope Dominic kicks that ****** It's unbearable to watch. PS. The way they are threating Thiem is embarrassing. Under-arm server on set point, jumping and screaming like it's a boxing match..
  5. North American legs in winter sports should always be at the beginning of the season. Alpine found this is the perfect timing years ago. On one hand, snow conditions are much better in NA in November and December, than in Europe. And secondly, since it's the beginning of the season, the athletes are fresh, the long travel wouldn't be a problem and you guarantee a full roster. 15 days in NA and then a Christmas break sounds perfect for me. You can even slot an Asian leg too, if you'd want to make them 3. But having them in the middle or end of the season just doesn't work!
  6. Another brilliant win for the Vladikavkaz giant Aslan Karatsev This guy has such a great story. He has only 5 ATP wins, but has been grinding the ITF/Challenger Tour for 8 years now and this is his debut GS main draw appearance. But he first tried in Qualies already in 2014-15!! But he never made it and by 2017 was in the 700s of the rankings. Had no sponsors, had no coach and no real direction really. Then found a coach in Minsk and everything started going up. Last year went to the US to train, when the pandemic hit and in the fall dominated the first Challengers winning 18 out of 20 matches. And one of his loses was to Stan Wawrinka of all people. Going to hit the top 100 for the first time now and is one of the few that have managed to reach the 1/8 in their GS debut.
  7. These people seriously need Russia on the calendar. Grow up children.
  8. We can have the SG in Bansko, but FIS will probably want a new full host for that weekend. Time for Wengen to get back the races they cancelled.
  9. Crazy final meters in the final and a well deserved victory for Lucas Eguibar The guy is no slouch, he had solid results before, with already a silver from 2017. I'm happy things went his way.
  10. Bayern - Tigres final at the moment and so far it is a surprising 0:0. We could have the first North American winner.
  11. Crawford first to pass the fifth gate
  12. This new track has some big secrets, damn.
  13. Paris to save the Italian day
  14. The race seems over, unless Breezy breezes through the slope.
  15. Interesting what sparked the change in Lara Gut after the mediocre last few years. Going for that missing big Gold.
  16. Shiffrin first even after a big mistake. Guess the slalom girls are going to dominate the SG again
  17. At laaaaast the sun is out and we are under way
  18. This is news to me. Actually Australia for such a big country gets very little discussion here. Though, what was said about the noisiness and racket at the Kyrgios and Kokkinakis match today is completely true. This thing wouldn't fly on the internet, if it was in a ton of other countries. We all know the long standing opinion of how bad, or tough, if you'd like, is the french crowd at RG. There is nothing wrong with home support, i'm actually a big supporter of it. Everyone wants their countrymen to win most of the time, but don't have double standards.
  19. I like Sakkari, it's a real shame she lost so early. Agree, that quarantine probably screwed a deep run. Her game gets better and better and top 10 is a possibility, she just needs to be more consistent.
  20. When it comes to great movies, TSPDT updated their list of the top 1000 movies of all time. For those not familiar with it, it has thousands of aggregated polls included. In my opinion, even though i love the Imdb 250, this is the cornerstone. Here are the current top 100: http://www.theyshootpictures.com/gf1000_100-1.htm
  21. Not a fan of the Netflix? Though to be fair, i too haven't watched the "favourites" yet.
  22. https://www.goldderby.com/odds/combined-odds/oscars-nominations-2021-predictions/ Best shortlist, until the actual nominations are announced
  23. Of course, since i picked Russia, they will flop
  24. Nah, Mank is the whitest film this year. It's going to get nominated in each category, but it's not going to win anything.
  25. Can Halep fight her way to a win, i'm surprised she hasn't folded already.. It has been years of frustration trying to be a fan of hers.
