I think you're just being bitter because you expected a medal for her and she had "bad luck". It's great to know a person from Belize and why not try to win a medal as well? It's a nice bonus. Even though this does not really count for the country, I'm really happy because this is a huge achievement for the athlete. Jaqueline Lima is from Piaui, one of the poorest states in Brazil. It's beautiful to be able to see how sports can change lives.

Serbia was very close to reaching a historical final on men's horizontal bar in gymnastics. The Serbian gymnast placed 9th and was only 0.033 behind the last qualifier. This is literally the smallest margin of difference possible in an individual apparatus in this competition. Bummer...

Yes, I think so. His supporters seem to believe sports eat up a lot of public funds, so they are okay with the idea of not funding Olympic sports anymore (this would probably not affect football, since clubs manage their own income and use their own money to hire players).
