Officially we pulled out because our athletes need to prepare for the post-Olympic World Cups (unlike any other nation apparently). Because, you know, some random and inconsequential WCs are more important than once in a quad chance to make an Olympic podium. I blame this on the Kostelić family by the way. They so blatantly oversold the importance of World Cup over the years that the federation is still making such decisions. For the same reason World Championships traditionally have very little importance for our federation. World Cups are more important.

There are extra quotas reserved to find 12 teams if not otherwise qualified. Looks like will get one each to complete the team. Well done Ukraine. This would cover nations with 3 individuals qualified. Next up would be nations with 2 individuals, presumably, and the first in line would be - . EDIT: Looks like they are already using those 5 extra spots. Nevermind then.

That was quick. So Poland will most likely get another.

We are officially offered 4th women's quota (France accepted 1, returned 3). Really curious if they will accept it as an U.S. based collegiate skier is the best we can offer.

Finland refused reallocation. Apparently they are not so desperate to send Janne Ahonen just to have a team.

If IBSF continues reducing men's quotas, it probably is.

Aaaaand that's a wrap for us. Dutch NOC waived their rules and selected Ivo de Bruin anyways. But apparently just for the 4-man? I guess to make sure we became reserves #1 for both events. How wonderful.

Provisional reallocations for the women: . We know is not interested, so can already expect theirs. Meanwhile, I can see being content with 6 skiers each, if so, move in @hckošice. is kind of iffy too, but they have only four skier now. Maybe will bow out too? This would potentially open things for and/or . Looks like will miss out on the third spot by one or two places in the final analysis. @heywoodu

Ako izuzmemo GER, NOR, NZL, SRB, GBR i NED, ispada da zadnja realokacija ide nama u ženskom skijanju, čak i ako svi ostali prihvate što mi se čini upitnim. Ali koga poslati? Štimac je izgleda odustala. Zbašnik izgleda studira u Americi (ne bi je bilo loše poslati obzirom da je propustila Pyeongchang u zadnji čas zbog ozlijede). Poslije nje ostaju samo Tili Grgurić i Dora Ljutić...? Dora može samo u slalom. Možda i odbijemo.
