  1. Add Kolega to that list too. Like I said, we are always awful in Schladming, especially when it is this icy. Probably the technicians are not fully understanding it either.
  2. Yeah, we are always bad in Schladming, but this was something else. Should be the definite proof that Zubčić is not a medal material this season. Bet he regrets putting more focus on slalom.
  3. Jakobsen Bet he will DNF in the second run.
  4. Andorra will decline too. This one will end up in Korea most likely. And if not Korea, then... Slovakia? All these nations will decline, except maybe RUS/CZE, but they too will start declining spots at some point unless they went all in for quantity over quality.
  5. Japan declined. Unique chance for Romania to enter two weekend-skiers now, since Caill appears to be absent for some reason.
  6. When did Brendan Kerry become a short track speed skater? And since when is Sydney, New Brunswick a thing...?
  7. I strongly suspect we will not be present too. We usually announce flag bearer the day when final team is named, however no flag bearer was announced today.
  8. I mean, for what you did, the least Katie should do in return is to come and join Totallympics (and TISC).
  9. Belgium suddenly refused a women's quota which got offered to Japan (TBC). Few more withdrawals (for example from Germany and Sweden), and the reallocation system will just snap here. Some British skiers ranked #370 are already appearing on the wait list... https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/v2/quota/list/owg/al/2022
  10. Funny how gender equality gets thrown in the garbage as soon as some big nation gets angry.
  11. Honestly wouldn't mind Jamaican skier getting kicked out after all his bragging. But will not happen. You can cheat and get away with it. Vanessa Mae set the precedent.
  12. Team Croatia Men Marko Skender (Sprint, 15 km classical, 50 km freestyle) Women Vedrana Malec (Sprint, 10 km classical, 30 km freestyle, Team sprint) Tena Hadžić (Sprint, 10 km classical, Team sprint) Interestingly we will be skipping the skiathlons. Not a bad idea to spare some effort. The main events will be women's team sprint and women's 30k. Hopefully Top 20 and Top 40, respectively, will be attainable here.
  13. Honestly, it was about time we got this lucky.
  15. Croatian team Men - Zubčić, Vidović, S. Kolega Women - Popović, Ljutić, Komšić Everyone will start in GS and S, except Vidović who will skip GS. Not enough quotas to put Rodeš on the team. 6th placed skier in slalom from the 2021 Worlds. But this is not Austria so nobody will be losing their shit over it.
  16. Well, looks like they all belong to the circle of Josef Fendt and his cronies. You can't change the whole system and/or discount races just because you don't like the final outcome.
  17. Već bismo znali da su pozvani. Sad mogu upasti samo u zadnji čas i to u slučaju nepredviđenih okolnosti...
  18. 19. What a bunch of sore losers... They are blaming everyone for their own short comings. It's obviously the team management's fault that Austria failed to secure maximum quota. Honest management would resign immediately.
  20. She is the favorite in slopestyle, I think, and a contender in big air and half pipe.
  21. Wow, Stremous was on point here... Maybe a surprise medal coming up for Moldova (in the individual race).
  22. were really close to WC points in Cortina today. Few more DNF's would have done it.
  23. The thing is, one of them could have a nightmare free skate (khm... Sascha de Vil), but because of the quads, they will still get the sweep. It's not only that. The rest of the world just doesn't have anyone to stop them. Rika Kihira was there but is out injured this season. So the hopes rely on Sakamoto and Hendrickx. Insane. So it should be the first figure skating sweep since Cortina 1956...
  24. Matteo Gatti and Anna Torsani for San Marino.
  25. Well, another selection injustice happened in Belgium...
