  1. It's a bullshit season anyway, so how would it matter anyway? Although, if you ask me, everything is BS in F1 these days, corona or no corona. Whenever I try to watch it, I can't help but feel strong disdain over that ridiculous noise the cars are producing these days. I can survive for about 5 laps before turning it off, usually.
  2. This + imagine how much control over their lives 11-year olds have in more oppressive countries.
  3. I remembered it well... Cross-country was indeed a LOT of fun. Only the OBS commentators were quite meh. Originally I watched it on BBC, and upon rewatching I could remember moments that provided both excitement and laughs for their crew. OBS commentators, meanwhile, barely raised their voice at any point, and they completely missed out on the comedic points as well (for example Andrey Mitin dunking his head in the barrel of water after completion)...
  4. Wow, that's really a lot. In the end, mass testing hasn't really been proven as something too beneficial. 6000 tests with 0 positives seems like a waste of resources. Insurance homes will suffer if they don't adapt the number of tests according to the actual needs.
  5. Coming up next: Riots against violent riots? Riots against violent riots against violent riots? I can see the first one happening in all honesty. Screw COVID.
  6. It's just mocking the blanket statements I'm seeing all over the internet. Sadly.
  7. At least 5 people got killed in riots. Punish protestors ! There is no innocent protestor ! They are all accesories to the killings !
  8. I guess waiting this much for the replays was a blessing in disguise. Show jumping for example now has replays of all preliminary competitions, unlike basically any other event. Today I will rewatch the Day 2 of eventing dressage. It will continue the build-up for the long-awaited cross-country...
  9. Good news on Juan Matute. He is able to sit up and communicate, but only by nodding as doctors are not allowing him to speak yet. His memory seems to be doing fine, as he remembers COVID and the headaches that preceeded the brain-bleed. It will be a long road to recovery, but so far it's looking good...
  10. Says who? CNN? Hollywood? America has school shootings, serial killers, and probably few more similar things you can't really find anywhere else on the globe. Obviously they can't behave like the police in Sweden or Italy. But systematically ruthless? Not really, beyond mainstream media that is.
  11. I love him in Dirty Harry. Escape From Alcatraz is a lot of fun too, but it's not really a character film. I haven't watched any of his Westerns though. His directorial films are kind of meh in all honesty. Unforgiven is quite good, but not really my favorite. Then there is a whole bunch of Eastwood pictures which I find downright average (for example American Sniper, Flags of Our Fathers and Sully). And finally on the bottom there is J. Edgar...
  12. I CAN'T EVEN They uploaded the replays of eventing. Finally I can rewatch the five hours of cross-country after 4 years of waiting!! 13. And yet, I guess this proves we are better off without the police? Yeah, ok. On the sidenote, probably the whole coronavirus situation has gone completely rampant between all these protests.
  14. Even the SF Mayor has had enough of this. "Go home!"
  15. Wait, they are still uploading new replays? Maybe there is some hope...
  16. Situation is becoming quite alarming in the Central America.
  17. Not surprised. It was obvious that WHO was protecting Chinese interests from the beginning. It's hardly a surprise that nations who went above and beyond initial WHO recommendations have handled this situation best. The fact that pandemic was pronounced only after a country like Italy went into a nation-wide lockdown is astonishing. WHO are the ones to blame for the pandemic reaching proportions we are witnessing today..
  18. There are probably tens of thousands of policemen in America. If your average policeman really shoots first and asks questions later, then modern day America would have been even more lawless than the Wild West. Like I said, generalizations usually represent the root in such issues. One can argue it's also the liberal gun laws which can awaken the killer instinct in people. Temporary insanity is probably in the cards, legally speking, but I guess these protestors will sooner like to see the policeman crucified rather than the main issue addressed. Esssentially, answering generalization with another generalization against the people you don't like is not an answer...
  19. Yay generalization. It's as if people still can't understand that generalizations are usually always the root of such unrests. Especially in America.
  20. Given the situation in Latin America, that's really the last place where international sport will restart.
  21. Public gatherings of 100 people are now allowed in Croatia. During the past five days combined, only one new case was detected!
  22. So apparently the Akhal-teke Olympic champion for the Soviet Union..... Continued his career with Toni Nimac at the 2020 monobob? Not bad for a 68-year old horse... http://www.olympedia.org/horses/10
  23. I like the new horses section. Looking forward to reporting missing data.
  24. Albanian national coach died from coronavirus.
