    Yeah, I think everyone has now given in to the fact that as long as there is no vaccine, we will live in uncertainty. While there is a chance that the virus will be at bay come February, I'm afraid it will more likely be the opposite. COVID can survive summer heat, but I'm guessing it will spread more efficiently once people start spending more time indoors during Fall and Winter...

    How about Great Britain? People who attended London 2012 (as well as many other events) have claimed that those Games have featured some of the most (if not the most) one-sided fans in history. And I can see why. Just compare that to Brazilian fans chanting "Niger! Niger!" in 2016...

    I have been reviewing some results... And apparently Mario Deslauriers could be just about the unluckiest Olympian ever. He contested 4 show jumping events in total during 1984 and 1988. In 3/4 of those events he placed 4th! Every time very close to the podium. 1984 team - 0.75 penalties away from the bronze 1984 individual - contested the jump-off for bronze 1988 team - 1.25 penalties away from the bronze

    Spain, Italy, France... All of them had a significant drop in daily numbers. Iran, meanwhile, has basically had the same numbers every day for 3 months now. I think they are the only country with such level of consistency...

    FEI is just dumb at this point. They published revised qualification systems and... Not only are younger athletes and horses now allowed to take part (?), but also the athletes who achieved MER during 2019 basically lose their MER. What. The. Hell. They literally removed qualification status from large majority of athletes with this decision. As if they don't already have enough on their plates right now. Unbelieveable. How could IOC even allow this? Didn't they claim that everyone who was already qualified stays qualified?

    Doctors have started the process of slowly waking up Juan Matute from the artificial coma... Given that he was under a brain surgery, the level of his function will only be known once he wakes up, and it looks like that may happen over the weekend...
