  1. Liendo's bronze tonight was the first medal by an individual man at the WC since 2015 (Ryan Cochrane). Hoping big things from him in the 50.
  2. Very successful night for Canada. Canada currently sits 5th in the medal table, just one behind Australia. I'm sure this won't last, but I sent a screenshot to my Aussie friend nonetheless. Still living down the loss in mixed curling. Edit: Canada is 4th on the swimming medal table, still one behind AUS. Third in total medals. Just documenting this.
  3. McIntosh would have won gold in the 200 free with her lead off time, and set a world junior record (and basically put Canada on the podium tonight). Hope to see her expand her programme for Paris.
  4. Disappointing turns by Ruck and Oleksiak, but bronze nonetheless!
  5. Petition to include the 50m backstroke in the Olympic Games: (please add your name) 1. Orangeman
  6. Masse gets another gold! Wilm in 4th by just 0.03. Great race by both.
  7. Lots to look forward to tonight: Summer in the 200 fly final Oleksiak and Sanchez in the 100 free semi Liendo in the 100 free final Masse and Wilm in the 50 back final Wog in the 200 breast semi Women's 4x200 final
  8. Kelsey Wog qualifies 1st in the heats for the 200 breaststroke!
  9. Oleksiak and Sanchez easily into the 100 semis in 2nd and 5th, respectively.
  10. And 200 Butterfly. Penny's time from Tokyo in the 200 free would have comfortably given her the gold here. Ugh. Hoping it'll drive her more in the 100.
  11. Summer qualifies first for the 200 Fly! I still have no idea how she outtouched the American at the end.
  12. Thought Masse was going to steal it right at the end there, but still a great silver performance!
  13. With Haughey pulling out of the 100 and 200 free, Oleksiak is the only medalist from Tokyo in either of those races to compete in Budapest (bronze in the 200). And seeing as she finished 4th in the 100, looking pretty good there, too.
