  1. Yeah! But everyone is missing... Maybe the guy from Denmark has a chance. He only missed one in the prone. Plakalovic from Bosnia also skis decently fast.
  2. One person so far has shot clean. Very true. Krupcik 4 misses
  3. That's basically what I've done, except I put the intervals with just before the shooting.
  4. I think the 'Standings' is some kind of live tracker and estimator of who is in which place. An interesting development, I guess. Hard to follow though. Might just pull up a few checkpoints and the range and watch from there.
  5. Hahaha I'm kind of liking this actually. It'll take some getting used to but it's pretty cool. What I don't understand is what are the numbers under the "Next" in standings. (1,2,2,4,4,3...)
  6. I guess it's pretty simple, now that you think of it. You sort of customize your feed since you can add various things at the same time. I'm going to add 'standings' and 'range' to start with.
  7. Hah okay I'll just loosely keep track of the live results. I actually was hopeful for a livestream on YouTube, but all of them were fake. What is with this new datacenter? It's great I think except for the live stuff. I just went to 'Start List', hopefully it'll work from there.
  8. That would be quite amazing if she did make it to the WCH. Now to watch the sprint.
  9. Ah. Okay. I'll be rooting for them, then! I do think if Bruna has improved, she could make it. Wasn't it last year that she got under or around 200 points?
  10. Hahaha. Also I think there was this Bosnian girl who regularly missed 5+5. Snezana Borovcanin I think her name was. I'm rooting for Slovakia as well as the Czechs this year. I kind of wish victory on them Maybe they could pull it off in the women's relay with Kuzmina? Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Bruna have to take Brazil to 30th in the nations cup? Because for that she'd have to beat out either Spain, Hungary or Bosnia, all of whom have athletes of a greater class But cross-country would be cool, too! Maybe even a team sprint with Mourao Are Lima and Bonfim already on the level of say Bourguinguon or Lutz? I recall they were biathletes last year? Thanks for the list by the way. What quotas do you mean? I thought the quota system followed the pattern as seen in these tables: http://www.neveitalia.it/sport/biathlon/worldcup/news/i-contingenti-femminili-per-la-coppa-del-mondo-2016-17-litalia-sale-a-6-posti http://www.neveitalia.it/sport/biathlon/worldcup/news/i-contingenti-maschili-per-la-coppa-del-mondo-2016-17-litalia-torna-a-5-posti (Interesting to note as well that China are making a return to the men's World Cup after awhile! They kind of lost out after Netherlands got a wildcard but never used it because their whole team fled to Sweden :P) Interesting. Wonder what happened to Camensic and Pinzaru. Also, yes, Great Britain has two new women! :O
  11. Also where did you manage to find a list of IBU Qualifying points?
  12. Yeah I do remember Serbia had a bunch of junior females at some point, all of whom were quite weak. I guess it just needs development over there. Wow, really?! That's awesome! I've been out of touch, sorry, haha. So she does plan to try and make the Olympics?? I will be cheering for them
  13. Also I wonder who the woman is for Macedonia. Kiroska?
  14. Maybe for Moldova it will be Alexandra Camensic? She competed at Sochi 2014 and at the WCH in 2015. What's interesting for me is that Britain has another female, as does Croatia. That hasn't happened for awhile. Both used to field relay teams occasionally but have since kind of faded. But yeah it will be a very interesting group of races for sure. We could have a single mixed relay with Hungary, Bosnia, Spain, Georgia, Turkey, Macedonia, Greece, Croatia...Shame about the lack of Serbian women. Whatever happened to Brazil, by the way? Are they planning to do any IBU cups this year?
  15. If the Opening Ceremony was in countryballs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqihV1pms0E
  16. My friend in America is watching the ceremony "live" but is actually delayed. As of now, it's in the middle of the Parade of Nations. NBC really didn't want America going early
  17. Athletics- 3-5 (men's javelin, Spotakova, Hejnova, possibly Maslak or Drahotova, others possible but unlikely) Badminton- not going to happen Canoe Slalom- 2-3 (Kudejova, Prskavec, probably one other) Canoe Sprint- 2-3 (Fuksa, 4-kayak, possibly 2-canoe) Cycling- not going to happen, road or track Mountain Biking- 1 (Kulhavy, would be nice to see Nash but probably not) Fencing- very unlikely Choupentich can pull it off Gymnastics- not going to happen Judo- 1 (Krpalek, others unlikely) Modern pentathlon- 1-2 (Svoboda, Kuf maybe) Rowing- 1-2 (Synek, Knapkova) Sailing- very unlikely (Fenclova is good but I don't think she will medal) Shooting- 0-2 (Kostelecky/Sykorova/Mazurova could pull it off, but I honestly think even one medal would be an achievement) Swimming- very unlikely, synchronized also Table tennis- not going to happen Tennis- 1-2 (Hlavackova/Hradecka, possibly Kvitova or other doubles pair) Triathlon/Volleyball/Wrestling/Weightlifting- not going to happen. It's a pretty optimistic list, I guess.
  18. My two korunas: Baseball/Softball I'm honestly quite happy about, as it's a great sport without a proper world championship with the world's best players. However it would need the support of the MLB and other professional leagues for sure, otherwise it will just be a farce like Olympic football is now. Also it's great news for the Czech Republic as they are competitive on a European level and could possibly qualify, particularly in baseball. Karate can't hurt, I guess, sure it's a redundant fighting sport, we have five already. But it won't do any harm, it has a large following in the world, and Japanese viewership would make the event at least a success. Don't think I would support its inclusion in future Olympics, though. Sports climbing, reminds me kind of when in the old Olympics they had rope climbing as part of an Olympics. Not sure how it's going to look at Olympic level but again Czech medal chances and it's kind of a new horizon, we don't see many speed events that require such strength. Again there is a world tour so it definitely has legitimacy. Surfing I'm not sure about. There are troubles with wave conditions and hosting a fair event. I get it could be another gymnastics/perform-ish kind of event, and fair enough, maybe even some Pacific countries could medal, only concern is the contest being fair. Skateboarding I wondered if it was a joke? Surely. But honestly it's not too different to snowboarding, and that's a great part of the Winter Olympics. So I'd be willing to give it a chance, I guess. I only hope that they don't cut any events from already existing sports
  19. Interesting. By the last year's results they could easily do it. UAE also won the Gulf Cup and finished second in Asia so that's fitting as well. I think Colombia as the winner of the Pan-American Tournament should also be invited. I mean they beat Mexico two years in a row (unless Mexico sends two 'B' teams?) Although they might not meet the IIHF requirements that excluded Mongolia, Greece and Ireland.
  20. Chinese Taipei will apparently host and take part in a qualification for Division III next year. But they are only playing the UAE. Does that mean Div III is to have 7 teams? Also Division II B will be hosted in Auckland, where I live Hopefully I can make it to a North Korean game and share some videos
  21. Does anyone know what the quotas for nations in the WC will be for 2016/17 and if they will follow the same format as last year?
  22. I actually made it But yeah it's footage you can find anywhere. There were also pictures from 1904 and the start of 1896 but I couldn't find any from 1900 or 1906. If you find some do let me know What I am in awe about is that through over one hundred years of history, it just never really changes.
  23. I know right? Side by side it's very interesting to see. It's so odd how so often it happens that the runner in lane 2 pulls up
  24. Every Olympic Final in 100m (1908-2012)
  25. Glad to hear Brazilian biathlon is doing well! Vamos into 2016/7!
