  1. 4th gold for Norway incoming? Really great improvements by norwegian athletics recently.
  2. Noone jumped over 17 m in the triple jump after 3 rounds ...
  3. Nope, his time has come. Grandpa is done, you can stick the fork in him.
  4. Duplantis, Bahta, Aregawi ... Sweden has some talents (Kramer, Stahl), they can stop using "foreign" athletes.
  5. The end of Lavillenie has come, from now on he will never win a gold medal again.
  6. Morgunov too. The polish guy probably will never win a gold medal.
  7. Salpeter with a very nice progression over the last year. PB in 2017: 16:12.51 as a 29 year old PB in 2018: 15:01.00 as a 30 year old Hallelujah, miracles still exist!
  8. Silver for Klosterhalfen! Sad that she was way off her best, but i am hopeful that she gets back to her best if she stays injury free next year.
  9. Gold for Duplantis? Is he the only one who can stop Poland from winning the version of the medal table currently used to determine the best nations at the olympics?
  10. Most ... you have obviously never been to certain areas of Berlin ... Do we actually have any proof that Ennaoui moved to Poland when she was 2 years old. Maybe she was actually 25 when she moved to Poland and the authorities tried to hide it to allow her to compete at junior level?
  11. The 13th best athlete from qualification will come in obviously ...
  12. I think GB currently is at 5 golds, so they will likely end with 7 golds just like Poland, currently both have the same number of silvers, so it will probably come down to which nation wins more silver medals.
  13. A "foreign" athlete being used as mascot? Seems a bit patronizing to me ...
  14. I doubt that she wrote this herself. How do we even know that she knows how to write polish? Maybe someone else wrote it for her just like it was the case with Mesut Özil's recent instagram posts?
  15. So? Who cares? You dont know how all the other "foreign" athletes competing for other countries feel, but you still think you can judge them. I wrote this comment to show some polish guys on here how annoying their behavior is, but apparently even something that obvious can get lost on people if they live in their own world.
  16. How so? Were there really people who thought that Ennaoui could win the gold here. Germany would have to win 2 golds to beat Poland. 1 is possible (3000 m SC), but a 2nd seems unlikely given how superior GB is in womens 4 x 100 m relay. Edit: GB might actually be the favorite. Both GB and Poland will get to 7 golds. So the question is whether the polish guys in pole vault/Kopron in womens hammer throw or McColgan in womens 1500 m are more likely to win silver here.
  17. You used the quotation marks wrong. It should be "junior" worlds. All of the african guys who beat him were in their 30s and probably already had children who are older than Jakob.
  18. Weird womens 1500 m final without 2 of the 3 best european runners competing.
  19. I think he would still be the best polish sprinter, which of course is super sad.
  20. You are right about Krause probably. The idea was to have a super sunday for Germany with 6-7 medals (both relays, triple jump, pole vault, womens 1500 m, womens 3000 m SC, womens 5000 m), but that didnt work out. I think Ingebrigtsen would have still won at least 2 golds in those 3 events given the competition he currently has to face.
  21. You're welcome! The polish guy who ran last for Germany manipulated the relay on purpose to advance his czech friends to the final.
  22. Yes probably, Reus didnt step on him, although it almost looked as if he touched "the last german/polish" with his arm and that guy then lost his balance.
