  1. Also, any news in the women's 50km race walk entrys? Inês Henriques and Erin Talcott both confirmed they would compete, but what about the other three girls that matched criteria?
  2. No. He didn't compete at National Championships because he expected his performance in 2016 to be enough to be added to the team, but 3 men match the qualification criteria and he was left out.

  4. I didn't know where to post this. Spanish Barcelona 92 judo champion Miriam Blasco married her rival in the final, british Nicola Fairbrother. I don't think there would be a lot of cases like them. http://www.rtve.es/deportes/20170724/miriam-blasco-nicola-yo-llevamos-casadas-ano-medio/1586620.shtml
  5. I read about a new "Taekwondo Gran Slam" and the winner getting an olympic quota. Does anyone know about that?
  6. Well, that's a new WORLD RECORD.
  7. 5 points? Who the hell lost money voting for our song? Like really, Europe?
  8. Weel I think Croatia now will rise with public votes.
  9. One country away from glory!
  10. We are last, at least we acomplish something.
  11. Everyone voting their neighbourgs. Everyone except France and Portugal that totally forget that we exist.
  12. You're not giving us the credit we deserve for getting 0 points, it's actually harder than getting at least one.
  13. That's not funny anymore
  14. Hungary and Germany please don't leave us alone
  15. Well, I totally undestand that guy wanting to end this performance
  16. Why can't Ruslana sing again?
  17. Really a guilty one......
  18. I really think everyone should be voting to Spain rigth now. That would help the chance of your country winning. Come on, still in time to do it!
  19. Damn, I miss Andorra so much, those where 12 already secured points.
  20. Team Moldova all the way.
  21. So I was watching the offical page of the Mediterranean Games of Tarragona 2018, and I am pretty shocked with I just had found: http://www.tarragona2018.cat/en/sport/atletisme/ Why aren't they doing the full athletics program? I see no logic on getting out men's triple, pole vault and hammer and women's high, shot put and javelin. Anyone knows the reason?
  22. Jon Ander, the last one, yep, that's me
  23. We were missing the cherry on top of the cake. http://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1049085/mixed-gender-race-walking-event-proposed-by-iaaf-for-world-championships-and-tokyo-2020 Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, 4x5000 mixed track race walking relay makes an appearance
  24. Of all the proposed things, I personally aproved: - High Diving, pretty spectacular sport, and fits with this new "young and spectacular" theme that IOC wants. - More than 8 teams in women's waterpolo. But I think with 10 teams would be enough. - The mixed shooting events look interesting - The rowing boat change. - Two more women's boxing. - Mixed syncrro duet - Madison. (Actually I would dig ANY change in the track events) I'm not so into 3x3 basketball or BMX freestyle thing but I can see them getting added due to IOC wanting to aproach to younger audiences. And the Triathlon relay I would accepted only if there's not a mandatory order from them to take place. It should be free. I wouldn't mind table tennis events to be Doubles rather than teams, but it should be one or the other. And I wouldn't mind either if they change women's 800m freestyle to 1500, and so they do the same as men. Mixed events in taekwondo, judo and pentathlon sounds like a joke. And no need for swimming programe to get bigger. I don't think Wieightlifting is in the position to ask for another event, they should drop one of men's weigths. Mixed archery, meh, not impresed but the fact that don't need new quotas could help them getting in.
