  1. Nope, cause they also said that they're waiting for the girls (an even another dude) to fullfith 'national selection criterias' and be added to the team.
  2. Ummm Hi people. I'm coming here for help. Spanish Federation is saying that both Kim Salarich and Juan Del Campo, two male spanish alpine skiers, have qualifiyed to compite at the games amd that both are going to be there. But I'm pretty sure that Spain only have one men's quota. They keep saying that they both are in, cause one is in slalom and the other in Giant. I keep thinking that this is wrong, but guys can you clarify me, please.
  3. Spain is going to reject the women's quota. And probably the second men's quota too.
  4. Yeah, that's why I said it. In our country's case (Spain), we had a guy in mono-bob in YOG's but now he has nothing to do as there's no more Spaniards in this sport to compete with....
  5. oops I did it again, :$
  6. It's a cycling event, it's so entertaining and the muddy/rainy/snowy races are, by far, the best ones. But it doesn't have so much appeal outside of Europe..

  8. Figure Skating is number 1 for me, I'm such a basic gay dude Biathlon second place and 3rd one Snowboarding. Cross Country (specially sprint races) is a close 4.
  9. Water Skiing is in Mediterranean Games too
  10. But since when that care for continental quotas? They just celebrate the qualification event in other competition and that's it.
  11. So... why America gets a continental spot and not Europe or Africa?
  12. MEN: Javier Fernández and Felipe Montoya ICE DANCE: Sara Hurtado & Kirill Khaliavin
  13. Strictly Come Dancing really does your popularity good.
  14. IAAF has still the nationality change thing frozen, will see for how long...
  15. RTVE announced on Monday that Spanish selection is going to be between the contestants of the show 'Operación Triunfo', a singing competition/reality show airing now that has 16 youngsters living in an academy learning music and can be followed 24H live in youtube. This same format was used before, to chose the spanish representative in 2002, 2003 and 2004. So, basically, one of this guys is going to sing in Lisbon Most probably the girl in red, the girl in blue and the guy with the white shirt and black jacked, since they are the favorites.
  16. So... Hi, I undestand NOTHING about Speed skating. Spain has an athlete, Iñigo Vidondo, compiting internationally. Does he has any chances of qualifiying to the olympics? Thanks in advanced.
  17. I'd rather have a low level championship that getting world records from doped athletes.
  18. So, basically, no chances now for Victoria Padial to qualify. I hate when individual events had 'team oriented' qualification rules, like biathlon or fencing in Summer olympics.
  19. Figure skating is already done too.
  20. FUTSAL Ok I think the qualifiying tournament for Europe already take place? I'm lost here but acording to this; http://www.uefa.com/futsaleuro/news/newsid=2454068.html "For the girls' event, the top eight nations in the UEFA men's futsal rankings will be invented to qualifying. Two four-team mini-tournaments will be held with the two winners qualifying for the Youth Olympics." Acording to the spanish federation web page, a Team Qualifiying event was held between RUS, ROM and KAZ, with Spain winning it. So, as I understand, Spains women team has qualifiyed. Boys also had a tournament against CRO, KAZ and BEL, and they won, but acording to qualifying rules they can'tgo to the YOG as the girls get the quota. So I have no idea who the other teams are.
  21. And now the 2018 Mediterraean Games are going to be held in a country that's not compiting
  22. Well I really don't think we are going to take the army to the streets. I mean all the people voting yes today will end up in jail because it was ilegal. So then is going to be how Catalonyan pro-independence people react to that. In their world they are a independent country, but in reality the goverment is aproving one of the laws in the spanish constitution that's going to allow to the goverment to take control of Catalonya, disolve their parlament and make elections this January.
  23. Well, that hurts. I mean, the same parliment has said it's ilegal, but they don't hurts. Catalonya is now independent. So now the waiting game starts, would any other country legitimaze them? (I mean, except Venezuela, of course)
  24. Also, with this catalonyan independence, I don't know about the future of the Mediterranean Games in 2018. They are in Tarragona (part of Catalonya), so..........
  25. In a fact it was, YES won. But actually if you look more deep, it wasn't. Not even half of the census of Catalonia voted, and the referendum was a big mess. People voted like three times. And when the police close some of the schools were the votes were planned, they took the booths out so people could vote. They are videos of it in youtube were you see multiple people in a crowd voting without any checks. Then, the results are totally hideous. There are cities with more votes for the yes than people living there....
