  1. This is still very good. Not as good as the wonderful scenario of controlling everything with a remote control across endless Olympic channels as in London 2012 and without fear of internet crashing, but the BBC was the host broadcaster that time so it was to be expected coverage would be scaled back a bit. Everything is still online so that's pretty good anyway. Plus I have RTÉ which will add more coverage for Irish users in addition to BBC. I can't complain. Hopefully will be the same for 2020 and beyond
  2. BBC's coverage of London 2012 was simply phenomenal.... I will never forget being able to flick through all those Olympic channels and being able to watch whatever I wanted. I wonder will they be able to repeat this level of coverage for Rio 2016. Edit: I see my question has been answered above
  3. I will for sure. My idea is that for team sports, we could imagine the templates like a wall-planner you sometimes get in advance of some big football tournament and you fill in the scores with your pen as the matches progress. Similarly, there is no reason we can't do that here for all team sports during the Olympics.... the schedule and fixtures will be known in advance so we can create nice templates for them and it should be relatively easy to keep them updated as the Olympics progresses. Individual sports would be more tricky because in athletics for example, the draws for the heats of each event usually takes place only 1-2 days in advance of the event. But we can still have a pre-ordered template and the names of each athlete will just have to be filled. I was thinking of something with a nice design, incorporating the Olympic rings symbol, and uniform sort of style (colour, layout, etc.), it will be like our special Totallympics templates for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. They should look nice as it is a major event (after all the Olympics are what we are all about here ).
  4. Maybe we can create some fancy templates for the Olympic Games so that results (especially team events results) could be posted with ease as the Games progresses. The template could be filled in advance, minus the results, which will obviously be filled as each day passes. I don't mind creating some sample templates and seeing what users think.
  5. As always, I'm just happy we are participating at all
  6. It's unfortunate for sure but we mustn't be too sad because we are close to equalling record number of nations competing at TISC Annual (current record is 35).
  7. I noticed could also be absent too for first time ever.
  8. Seems like we are in danger of losing two of the ever-present members of TISC this time with the absence of Egypt and Czech Republic.
  9. Haha, Paul McGinley was commentating here and he said Louis almost scored two holes in one with one shot
  10. Yes, I saw!! Davis Love III got one too!
  11. Nicholas Quinn qualifies for the Olympics in the men's 200m breaststroke with a win at the Eindhoven Cup (2:11.24mins)
  12. Some of the times listed on the table are incorrect. I think you mixed up backstroke and breaststroke times.
  13. Hole in one for Shane Lowry Too bad he's still on +10
  14. After a lot of consideration by the selection committee, Enya has been chosen to represent Ireland at the TISC Annual 2016. I hope you enjoy. Ireland Enya - Diamonds on the Water
  15. Hey don't worry, I'll post something by the deadline

  17. That would be a scandal if true. Plus some sceptics also suggest that they arranged for the 1 point margin of victory as a sign to TISC.... sort of an "anything they can do we can do better" kind of approach. As usual, reporting of this event is so hard to come by.
  18. Seems like WINTERFEST is really "snowballing" and taking off into a serious rival for TISC. Antarctica wins again, wow, they really have a hold on this contest! Poor "Library"
  19. Coasts - Oceans:
  20. PayPal is very safe Paid and now a premium member . By the way, you could also offer "donate" button as some people may wish to make small donation from time to time by way of appreciation.
  21. Widespread reports from various sources online now saying that Antoine has passed away. Sad, sad day for the sport RIP Antoine
  22. The report linked in my last message has now been updated to say nothing has been confirmed. I'm still hoping.
  23. This source seems to be suggesting it has been confirmed by some family members.... http://www.cyclismactu.net/news-carnet-noir-antoine-demoitie-decede-sur-gand-wevelgem-57518.html Until it's officially announced, I'm hoping beyond hope that it won't be true.
  24. That's just terrible
