  1. Haha, we are beyond weak in field events since WWII so no is the answer It's really bizarre... we went from being really strong in throws to non-existent
  2. SB for Christopher O'Donnell and 10 points... beating the 4 points I had factored in. Awesome
  3. Well, our first independent gold And a 2-time champion too
  4. 18.25m for Eric Favors in his last throw to save the 0 point. Nice
  5. And yet she looked in a class of her own today
  6. 2 no-throws for our shot put thrower.... disaster
  7. PB for Claire Tarplee in the women's 3000m and 6 points! Much more than what I have factored in
  8. Norway winning the mini battle with the Dutch in the W 3000m
  9. Ah, it's only the 4 best throwers that go forward to the super final in hammer... so 3 points is in the bag. Phew
  10. Anything above 1 point for us in the women's 3000m will be a bonus
  11. Oh wait.... there's 4 throws in the hammer???
  12. And it may seem like a tiny contribution, but 3 points for Michaela Walsh in the women's hammer is a great result as it was only a projected 2 points on the seedings. Every point helps!!
  13. 4 points (only 11 teams here)
  14. 6 points for Eanna Madden (late replacement for Leon Reid) is a wonderful return
  15. Wow, one of Turkey's big hopes DQ'd in 100m.
  16. 1 point would have been terrible too as her seeding was higher than that so i guess she factored in that was better to risk the loss of 1 point in order to gain a few. No luck though
  17. 0 points for Belgium in women's hammer after 3 no throws..... that's another set-back for them. For a team like Belgium, they can't afford such slips as they will already be in the relegation mix without such mishaps.
  18. Great run by Ciara... 9 points is much more than expected so makes up for Thomas Barr's shambles.
  19. Terrible run by Barr. He withdrew from the national championships a few weeks ago due to injury and that is the only explanation for that performance.
  20. Stream for today's action:
  21. So happy that Mexico qualified for Tokyo 2020. I'm a fan of their showjumping team since they won the Aga Khan trophy (nation's cup) in Dublin last year where they were amazing
  22. It's been a great summer on the forum in terms of activity with June and July both entering the top 10 in the "Posts Per Month" ranking. July 2019 broke new ground, as not only was it the highest ever total for the month of July, it also places 3rd all-time in the "Posts Per Month" ranking, setting the record for highest post total for a non-Olympic month. June 2019 places no.8 on the "Posts Per Month" list. New Record Alert!! Totallympics Record Number of Posts by Month July 9837 Congratulations everyone!
  23. Gold for Chile in the men's madison
  24. Good luck for that aim
