    The Irish team are going to appeal against the DQ. I didn’t see anything so can’t comment. Anyway, wonderful run by Eilish Flanagan for silver in the women’s steeplechase

    I love how the article says "is it the best in the world or just drunk speculation"..... as if any opinion in the matter isn't just speculation . I would in fact put more value of drunk speculation anyway, as it least that speculation comes from having tasted copious amounts of each product and thus making the drunks more qualified to speculate

    4 Irish boats in the A Final at the World Cup in Rotterdam. 3 of those are in Olympic events and we also have 2 boats in B Finals. And with Sanita Puspure absent. Very pleasing results. The new Irish lightweight double combination of Paul O’Donovan and Fintan McCarthy starting their new partnership with an A Final.
