  2. I am not sure how often something like this happens in women's handball, but still.... Hungary's results in women's youth handball in 2018-19: 2018 U18 World Championships - Silver 2018 U20 World Championships - Gold 2019 U19 European Championships - Gold 2019 U17 European Championships - Finalists (final will be on the 11th of August) We didn't miss a final in four tournaments and can even win 3 out of 4. This generation is special, I hope they have a bright future ahead of them in the next Olympic cycle.
  3. Will we get some kind of a live stream for this event? Eurosport Player only has the Super League.
  4. Final women's standings for the Olympic qualification 1. (7.) Poland - 97 pts 2. (9.) Australia - 107 pts 3. (10.) Brazil - 109 pts 4. (12.) Netherlands - 116 pts 5. (15.) 5. Sajnos nincs meg a kvóta vitorlázásban a férfi 470-esek között. Még egy lehetőség lesz egy európai kvóta megszerzésére.
  6. After how it started with the first 5 races this is definitely a disappointment for us.
  7. Final men's standings for the Olympic qualification 1. (3.) Greece - 48 pts 2. (11.) Russia - 95 pts 3. (12.) China - 97 pts 4. (13.) Turkey - 108 pts 5. (16.) Germany - 113 pts 6. (20.) 8. The Hungarian's "national sport" is still very clearly football. Nothing comes close and never will. Just look at how the whole country went insane during our participation in Euro 2016 or how Puskás is by far the biggest sport legend in a country that had many truly amazing Olympians like Egerszegi or Gerevich.
  9. Az a legfontosabb a már meglévő helyek megtartása mellett, hogy Szigetvári kijusson +78-asok között, mert akkor kvalifikálnánk a csapatversenyre is.
  10. 11 races + 1 medal race. So the next 3 races tomorrow will decide the quotas.
  11. Not the greatest day for us, we will really have to fight for that quota tomorrow.
  12. Men's standings for the Olympic qualification after 8 races 1. (5.) Greece - 38 pts 2. (11.) Russia - 57 pts 3. (13.) Turkey - 63 pts 4. (15.) Hungary - 71 pts 5. (18.) China - 75 pts 6. (19.) (36.) Argentina - 230 pts 13. (37.) Thailand - 233 pts 14. (39.) Hong Kong - 264 pts
  14. The official Hungarian venues: New Budapest Arena, Budapest, Capacity: more than 20,000 (new) Pick Aréna, Szeged, Capacity: 8,000 Főnix Hall, Debrecen, Capacity: 6,500 So Veszprém won't be a host city, because expanding the Veszprém Aréna would be too expensive. Why isn't its current 5,000 capacity enough for the group stage? I have no clue. And why aren't we just using the László Papp Sport Aréna with its 12,500 capacity instead of building the biggest handball arena ever in Budapest? Well, I think at this point we just want to make it obvious that we will build literally everything for a SOG even if we will never host one.

South Korea - 63 pts 14. (39.) Thailand - 68 pts 15. (45.) Malaysia - 74 pts 16. (52.) Canada - 103 pts
  16. Women's standings for the Olympic qualification after 5 races 1. (2.) Poland - 17 pts 2. (11.) Netherlands - 46 pts 3. (12.) Switzerland - 49 pts 4. (15.) Australia - 53 pts 5. (16.) 18. Well, this Brazilian defeat also means that Hungary definitely has to fight for an ECh OQT spot. I am afraid that we are in a pretty terrible situation.
  19. A brazilok kikaptak Chilétől az elődöntőben a PanAm-on, szóval a magyar férfi kézilabda válogatottnak az EB lesz az utolsó esélye az Olimpiai selejtezőre való kijutásra.
  20. Women's standings for the Olympic qualification after 2 races 1. (3.) Switzerland - 12 pts 2. (4.) Poland - 14 pts 3. (7.) Australia - 19 pts 4. (9.) Netherlands - 25 pts 5. (17.) Brazil - 33 pts 6. (19.) United States - 35 pts 7. (20.) Germany - 35 pts 8. (23.) Russia - 39 pts 9. (26.) Thailand - 51 pts 10. (31.) New Zealand - 62 pts 11. (32.) Malaysia - 62 pts 12. (35.) 21. I don't know that much about sailing, but I think this was a pretty great first day for us.
  22. Because it's the Russian volleyball team? I mean, I don't know that much about the current state of women's volleyball, but they never failed to qualify in this event.
  23. What are the two Olympic events that aren't counted in the "Latest World Championships Medal Count"? (there will be 339 events in Tokyo, and the current medal counts list 337 gold medals)
  24. A MOB előrejelzései Tokióra: https://www.m4sport.hu/cikk/2019/07/31/ket-vizilabda-es-egy-kezilabdacsapat-tokioi-kijutasaval-szamol-a-mob/ Három csapat kvóta (2 vízilabda, 1 kézilabda) Csapatlétszám: 144-179 kvóta 13 érem 24 pontszerző hely Kicsit optimisták a három csapatkvótával, az érmek számával viszont alacsonyra tették a lécet. 13 érem Peking mögött a második legrosszabb szereplés lenne 1932 óta. In English: The Hungarian Olympic Committee predicts that... we will qualify three teams (two water polo, one handball) Size of the Hungarian delegation: 144-179 quotas we will win 13 medals we will get 24 Top 6 placements Optimistic prediction for our teams, but a pessimistic one for the medal count. It would our second worst performance since 1932.
