  1. First big Multievents meet of the year this weekend (posting a bit late) - the Multistars from Brescia.
  2. Seong is cracked now. Gnedtchik wins, Seong Silver, Micheli bronze. Gulyas a bad day, fell to 10th.
  3. Seing looking strong, battle between Gnedtchik & Gulyas for silver. Asadauskaite being let down by her shooting. Gnetchik takes the lead…..
  4. So going into the laser run we have Seong Gulyas Clouvel in the lead, but still tight. Asadauskaite has about 50 secs to make up, but I bet she will.
  5. And what distinguishes that from # 20?
  6. Now just a minute here…. Shortbread & Petticoat Tails are like spaghetti & farfalle - same thing different shapes.
  7. Ah, OK, it’s like Ulster Scots, Kernow & Valencian then ie peasant dialects that existed in the pre-literacy era, but which died out with compulsory schools, railway lines & national service. Only to be reborn in the era when people discovered that there were €€€s in the budget for regional languages.
  8. Errm......isn't this just the language the rest of the world knows as....German? The Polish Sejm has taken a great step towards officially recognizing the Silesian language as a regional language, potentially making it the second such language in Poland, alongside Kashubian. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/poland-takes-a-step-toward-official-recognition-of-a-new-language/ar-AA1nHSS2?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=abc9a00b8c854399c3b816c05ceaa9f2&ei=17

  12. Don't see flame-throwing robot dog battles as an Olympic sport anytime soon, sadly. Maybe the World Games. A flame-throwing robotic dog has been invented by a company in the United States that is capable of delivering “on-demand fire anywhere”. Watch: Fire-breathing robot dog that can torch anything in its path (yahoo.com)
  13. Men’s event dominated by Seo, but big battle for silver with Mohamed beating ElGendy.
  14. Yeah, that’s what happened eventually. In the old days the BBC always used their contracted guys no matter how bad they were. But that particular guy was just so terrible that they had to give that idea up.
  15. Quick change of thread, device & continent for the Kip Keino Classic from Nairobi.
  16. Dunno about that. Our own athletics commentators who suddenly find themselves doing the Olympic bobsleigh have certainly matched that standard.
  17. Wow, out of absolutely nowhere, incredible! If he keeps this up all season he is going to bankrupt the DL Prize Money fund.
  18. Attempting 6.00 Oops, TV lagging
  19. Wow Torrie Lewis takes diwn ShaCarrie Richardson! Fair enough this is mid-season for her.
  20. And your final "where to watch" post of the weekend! How to watch and follow the Wanda Diamond League meeting in Xiamen | NEWS | World Athletics
  21. So final score is Bryson Seong and an all- battle for third! Malak Ismail gets her first ever medal. Couple of top ten places for the Athletes of No Nation.
  22. And another great shoot 3, so should win. Battle between & for the other medals.
  23. Horrible first shoot from Bryson, cuts her big lead. But great shoot 2!
  24. Just coming up to the Laser Run now. Kerenza Bryson has a 16sec lead, but all the others are pretty tight.
  25. For those that aren’t following road cycling day-to-day, are having a great week after a few quiet ones. Sunday - Tom Pidcock wins the Amstel Gold Wednesday - Simon Williams wins the Fleche Wallonne Thursday - Simon Carr takes Stage 4 of the Tour of the Alps.
