    2 faults being the cut-off for the final is kind of ridiculous. Also no ties for 30th so we will only have 30 individual finalists. I'm sure everyone who made it is pleased about that.

    Mario Deslauriers qualifies for the show jumping individual finals.

    This is the last time this format is in the Olympics (next Olympics will have a speed event and a combined boulder / lead event). With any chance by 2028 they will have separate speed, lead and boulder events.

    Also that was maybe the dumbest challenge I've ever seen, given how punishing of unsuccessful challenges wrestling is.

    Forget a podium, can Roumania even qualify a team for 2024? They seem to have less depth than a bunch of countries that have never won an Olympic medal (like Australia or Canada).

    China would have had a very realistic shot at a sweep if it wasn't for the two per country rule. Their beam work right now is just on another level.

    Deserved gold for Guan Chenchen, she was my favourite coming in. Good fight back by Biles (to deny Canada a medal :P ) Really sad that Canada will never win a medal in this sport xD

    You can take absolutely nothing for granted when it comes to beam.

    The good news is that if Denmark loses then Ganna has a better shot at winning the individual pursuit gold medal he deserves to much.

    And someone yesterday said that track cycling is boring. It is when they do seeding time trials, but once the racing proper starts...
