This Euro's playoffs were divided into the strong team's side and the weak team's side, and with a incredible amount of luck (it was Iceland's win that put us in 3rd place) Portugal got a path to the final with much easier teams The good news is that, because of that, we reached the final. The bad news is that, at the final, we'll face a team from the "strong side"...

So Gareth Bale didn't played in semi-finals? (and don't forget that Portugal played the semi-final without Pepe, who's probably one of the main reasons my country reached the semi-finals )

Well, thanks! But honestly I don't think you (or I) will have that much luck. To me both France and Germany would be equally difficult: Germany as you say always wins to Portugal (we say here "Futebol é 11 contra 11 e no final ganha a Alemanha"/"Football is 11 against 11 and at the end the winner is Germany"); and France has the home advantage + Platini advantage (and is always the team that crush our dreams). But I would have preferred Germany, because if we loose, I would preferred to loose to Germany (I'm a big fan of the German football), and because I hate France

We're playing without Pepe = we have no defense... worst than that, we are playing with Bruno Alves, which means we will end the game with 10 players (he usually make horrible fouls...)

So what? Nelson Evora was our flag-bearer on 2008 and he's a triple jumper (which, just like all athletics, was late in the program). And he actually won a gold medal back them (our only 4th Gold medal ever ) I think is a nice gest as João Rodrigues is on his 6th olympics (), and he'll probably retire, but I still think Fernando Pimenta (Silver in London 2012 and bronze in last year worlds) would be a better choice.

I'd like to see that too I think our best team (like the one we had in Euro 2015 U-21) would be a really good team, but we probably won't have some of the best players of that team, as they're already on Euro 2016 (william carvalho, rafa, joao mario, renato sanches - didn't played on 2015 but he's really good). Let's wait and see... Either way I don't particulary enjoy the male football in Olympics (though I would really love to get a medal ), as I think an Olympic competition should award the best of the bests (as it happens with pretty much every other sport), not the best of the U-23+some old players...

This is true, Porto and Benfica are denying their players the Olympics (Jimenez from Mexico even proposed to not be payed during that month to be able to go, but Benfica said "NO!" ). Specially Porto as they will have to play the Champions League playoff in August.

Last weekend was a bit hot (almost 40º) but this week is more enjoyable here: 27-29º. I like this weather, confortable during the week and then hotter on the weekend, to enjoy the sea

So finally I get to answer to those two questions: 1 - C) I understand the reasons for the rule, but I'm not in favor of a restriction that forbidds songs from the last 2 or 3 years. I think a reasonable answer would be to forbidd songs from the current year (as they have a exclusive and dedicated contest to do it, the Annual Contest), but from that year only. Though I also like older music, that might not be the case for every user as some of you may prefer recent music, and I don't think that one should force other users to send older music just because I want to listen to a specific kind of songs. I find my interest in this contest as a friendly oportunity to discover new songs/artists, and I honestly don't care at all if the song is from the 60's or from 2014, so I would clearly vote to change this rule. 2- A) not to follow the group, as I follow only my own opinion : those who win should be the preffered organizers, only if that doesn't happen a bid should be made. Why? Because it's a contest, and the winner should be awarded of course

Actually Germany is usually one of my favorite teams to win. Not because I like the nation (nothing against it also, for me is just like any other country, no special interest), but because I really love German football and German mentality (on both nation and club games): "Never stop the machine, not even if it's 6-0!". If Portugal wasn't on the run I would totally cheer for you against Italy, but until my country be eliminated I want everyone but Germany to play with (Portugal and Portuguese teams don't do well with Germany/German teams hehe)

Neither do I! That and the fact that the next game after that one we beat Russia with 7-1 (with an amazing goal from Ronaldo)
