yea it's hard to rate it any higher than 3 for Canada rn I do wonder what happens next and where the country goes from here though, assuming nothing gets better

The main factor for this is the performance of our athletes in the sports at this year's Olympics, but also with everything that's happened in between now and the past (2022) Olympics with these organizations. As well, Canada's general past performances in their history at Olympics are also factored into my choices, and if there's any bad juju around any of them that will also push them down quite a bit. I also follow some sports more than others (e.g. ice hockey) so that's also something to watch for here We're only one week into the Olympics, but I do this again once everything is over.
