  1. Milda Valčiukaitė (rowing) announced about her retirement during Lithuanian Sports Awards. Milda won bronze in Rio 2016 Olympics, 2013 and 2018 World champion and 2013 European champion
  2. Allison Reed submitted her final application for Lithuanian citizenship earlier this week. It's very unlikely to get approved by Lithuanian president.
  3. Let's not get too dramatic... China been taking revenge on Lithuania since 2008 Olympics and Lithuanian's stand to support Tibet. Loud threats and accusations, but no real damage, as this time is Lithuania supporting Taiwain.
  4. Great to see some international Track events are back in Panevėžys!
  5. Great news! I still hope for Amrbulevičius/Reed pair to sort out their citizenship as they been showing great form this season, but Ramansuakaitė/Kižala would make a history as first pair of Lithuanian-born skaters in Olympics.

  9. Plenty of girls, but no one to match Krupeckaitė and Marozaitė in the same team. During Nationals and Baltics Lithuania had several 3-women teams going for the title, but results failed to match federation's qualification standards. Just like our federation refused to send men's team sprint team, despite sending two male sprinters to the championships.
  10. Yes, this format kicked in during the last Europeans in 2020. We had 4 teams last time, so slow progress. Tokyo Olympics officially was the last competition with 2 riders per women's team.

  16. Not sure how reliable those evidence are.... Nobody could convince me than UK's road system could be ranked as high as it is...
  17. Only 55 countries participating... At least sending 3 female archers.

  22. Gold for Juškevičius
  23. Looking at the last World championships I predict that we might see tripartite invitations for and
  24. Sadly I think this need to be done. The sport of weightlifting would benefit greatly from being suspended for one Olympic cycle and returning under different governing body. The amount of systematic doping cases is really alarming and IWF is not putting the adequate resources and focus on it.
  25. Budapet trial in April had 12 for women and 18 for men, so there's no consistency so far..
