What was wrong with Iranian guy today? He completely ignored call for 2nd attempt and did not event went to stage and on his 3rd attempt it did not even looked that he even tried to lift it..

What a horrible mess in women's discus. After 2 attempts only 10 athletes has results on their accounts and all of it is way below the standards..

Krupeckaitė wins against Mears and moves to the next round. Amazing start it was by Lithuanian. She is not the fastest rider in the world anymore as she was in 2009-2010, but she is a very smart and experienced rider and won against Australian just by tactical fight. Hopefully Simona will show a good result in next rounds as well.
