The World Games are a bit weird, aren't they ? The budget to host the event must be quite high (30 sports and venues, 4,000 athletes...) with the video platform to boradcast everything. But it looks like they cheap out on every other metrics that could enhance the spectator experience by a lot and without costing a ton (graphics, a few more presentators that have a somewhat knowledge of the sports they're commentating, a website not stucked in 1999, etc.)

Interval start, like cycling time trial or cross country skiing. The athletes don't know the course ahead of time, and navigate using a map (that they are only given at the start, so no time to study) and a compass. They have to visit/check-in/punch-in at checkpoints noted on the map. If they miss a checkpoint (called "control"), then they are disqualified. The fastest time wins. No teamwork, no assistance from coaches or support staff. 
 
There's some other rules too, of course (and I could have some things wrong), but those should be the basics.

So happy they added this sport to the Olympics and that they held the event in Teahupo’o. For me this is one of the best moment of the games, and one of the great Olympic moments period.

I only save the results from the Olympics. I had been using the PDF Official Reports for years, but started archiving them about halfway through Pyeongchang in 2018. Starting in Tokyo 2020 I learned how to use a database program called FileMaker to keep all the files more organized and easier to access. Here is a picture of the current version I've got going for Paris.
 
How long have you been collecting the PDF results? Do you use any special system/tool to keep everything organized?
 
I wish there was an easier way to get them instead of having to click through each discipline to check for updates/new files.

I like that the live events are being shown in red and the the completed matches are collapsed. What i don't like is that it doesn't show the completed events as "finished" on the main schedule. Just add the word finished on the bubble, so i know, that event is done..

Will bet that has been focus-grouped and market researched at some point and…..

You can get that result on the official website, but it only works on desktops/laptops right now. They modified the way their results are presented this year and it broke a lot of functionality, especially on the mobile app. They have been really slow to issue fix updates too.... 
 
Edit: Just tried on the desktop and it won't scroll to the selected day. It always scrolls to the first day of events when you click on a particular sport.

I remember the schedule in tokyo and past olympics looking like what I’ve attached.
