  1. Italy loses to France's reserves. If we lose to France B, what can be said about France A? Even with Michieletto's return, I don't see any chance of a World Cup medal this season. After the unexpected gold at the 2022 World Cup, we are not making any progress and the likes of France and Poland are crushing us. By the way, we lost our 4th official match in a row to France since 2023 and this is another team sport where we are worse than them. And we only have volleyball, because in football or basketball we are at the bottom. In 4 major team sports: football, basketball, handball and volleyball, where we are behind France. Only in women's volleyball we are better... It is a shame that we cannot at least have a better team in men's volleyball.
  7. Cantaluppi's sudden departure just before the Paris Olympics was also strange - either she received more in Israel or she knew that her terrible training methods would soon be exposed (Rafaelli supposedly had to kneel in front of her and take off clothes if she did something wrong). In your opinion, does Rafaelli still have a chance at an Olympic medal in 2028? The bronze in Paris was OK, but it also left me a little dissatisfied.
  8. But is this any wonder? In Italy, there are also constant scandals in this sport. Apparently, if you don't use methods from the former USSR or China, you lose and that's why new scandals about the mistreatment of young athletes break out (I mean this sector with Sofia Raffaelli. The second one with d`Amato sisters and Manila Esposito works better, but on the other hand there is a terrible problem with injuries of the top gymnasts).
  10. Paradoxically, Ukrainian gymnastics is now showing better results than before 2022, for example in rhythmic gymnastics. So, the federation is probably not that bad when you write before, as it`s able to provide good conditions for athletes in times of war? How do you explain that?
  11. I repeat once: fo me the national team is not a club that you can change whenever you want... That is why, for example, the attacks on Louis Figo once, because he moved from Barcelona to Real Madrid - very brutal attacks, were less justified than someone changing his passport to a country with which he has zero ties.
  12. They can make such decisions, but they have to expect that they will be criticized for it. Colturi still lives in Italy, trains most days of the year in our centers, has an entire Italian team around him but competes in the colors of a country with which he has no ties on the past. For me, however, national colors are not a sports club, that you can change them. And just to be clear, I don`t mean people who, for example, have a mother from one country and a father from another, like Braathen in men's skiing.
  13. Just relax man, ok? Would you be happy if, for example, Janica Kostelic took Italian citizenship 20 years ago and started skiing for us? Exactly... Point of view always depends on the point of sitting...
  14. In Italy, the case of Lara Colturi was recently widely discussed and it will probably come back if she wins a medal in Cortina and our Brignone does not return on time. I do not support this myself and I am sorry that someone chooses another country for personal and economic reasons, with which they had no previous ties. Colturi is now 19 years old and some people also ask not to attack her because she is very young and it is her mother's fault.
  15. I think that he isn`t such a well-known figure as Olga Kharlan, Klitschko, or formerly Shevchenko to cause a big scandal. Secondly, these are still isolated cases for now, similar to the situation of athletes from Russia in other countries, e.g. Kasatkina in tennis.
  16. It probably won't be received too well in Ukraine, especially since their gymnastics is going through a great period and they probably have good conditions for training. However, it's not a well-known sport and person to cause a big scandal.
  17. Ok, but surely not everyone supports Nathanjahu? There were huge protests, right?
  20. It's hard to criticize Sinner after such an effort, but it should have ended in the 4th set. And the facts are that Sinner has a mental block in the game with Alcaraz and if that doesn't change, it will be hard for him to win much more Grand Slams in his career. Sinner can't just count on Alcaraz being eliminated earlier. It's not a big rivalry for now, but Alcaraz's monologue: 5 recent wins in a row, including 2 in Paris. And what's worse, it won't be easier for Sinner on other surfaces and today's big defeat could break him mentally for many months
  21. I think the last independent president in Poland was Aleksander Kwasniewski, if I remember good? And that was in the early 21st century?
  22. The two main parties in Poland: PO and PiS, which have dominated the political scene for 20 years, are so at odds with each other and bothing cohabitation between them isn`t possible. This conflict is`t results from the personal history of their leaders and is impossible to resolve now and on the future, until these two leaders leave politics due to old age. The only option is one of them to govern alone (prime minister and president from one of this parties) or a completely independent president to be elected from outside these two political camps, which has never happened since 2005.
  23. Becouse in Italy, Germany etc there is a parlamentary system when prime minister govern. In Poland there is a mixed system and the actually polarization is so great that a president from another camp will block everything so that the government falls due to this, the country will be paralyzed for 2 years. Such a system would be good in a country and at a time when there is a responsible political class that can reach an agreement on key issues.
