Col_Frost got a reaction from rafalgorka in European Games 2023
No it can't. The venue that will be build for Games will have 700m long, if I remember correctly. It can't organize all canoeing competitions, not to mention rowing. Rowing is possible only on Malta in Poznań but organizers want Games only in Małopolska. I don't know what's wrong with rowing and canoeing in Poznań and track cycling in Pruszków (assuming that track will still be open in 2023) but who am I to judge?

That is disappoiting. I'm glad that program is expanding, that we have modern pentathlon, rugby 7 or climbing but without athletics and swimming this event will never get enough attention.

Col_Frost reacted to Monzanator in Figure Skating 2020 - 2021 Discussion Thread
Norway controls FIS already. Do they really have to control ISU as well? Hell no. Name me ONE Norwegian figure skater not named Sonja Henie who won a World Championship gold medal I'm pretty sure they will be put back to their place and rightfully so. Norway in figure skating doesn't mean anything. It's like Romania or Poland trying to tell USA how the baseball World Series should be run

Col_Frost got a reaction from Monzanator in Biathlon IBU World Cup 2020 - 2021
It's not just a Polish surname. He was born in Polish family, he speaks Polish, he even was active in Polish community in Vilnus. Of course I'm not saying that he should change nationality or something, but it's not just a name

Can we have Karol Dombrovski back? He'd be an immediate upgrade for our men's team

I made compilation what combination qualifications and finals would look like if athletes would take the same results as in classic competition.
Women's Final:
1. Meshkova 6 pts.
2. Gejo 45 pts.
3. A. Kałucka 56 pts.
4. Krasovskaia 64 pts.
5. Caulier 70 pts.
6. Adamovska 80 pts.
7. N. Kałucka 96 pts.
8. Meul 126 pts.
Men's Final:
1. Luzhetskii 20 pts.
2. Lehmann 28 pts.
3. Collin 40 pts.
4. Kruder 48 pts.
5. Iarilovets 63 pts.
6. Boldyrev 64 pts.
7. Marcus 108 pts.
8. Peharc 140 pts.
To be fair, I'm not sure if there will 6 or 8 athletes in final. I counted as it was at WCh.

Not exactly. Her mother is Czech, father German. She was born in Prague but her family moved to Germany when she was kid. First she competed for Germany but not anymore.

She will work with Armin Zöggeler and his staff about the starting technique, one of the historical problems of our athletes
