Men’s roster for VNL is out. We’re going with a mix of youth and experience, with a lot of the big names missing like Szwarc, Loeppky, Demyanenko, Hoag, Eshenko… On the plus side… Sclater is finally back, and Kofi is making his return from injury!

As for we seem to be going with a mix of experience (Schnitzer, Lui, Currie, Elser, Hofer, McCarthy, Ketrzynski, Canham, Sclater, Kofi) and youth… mostly players that haven’t got the opportunity. Kofi is playing his first tournament back from injury, and Sclater seems to have un-retired from the NT (probably has something to do with Sammelvuo leaving) Varga and Heslinga are also on it, I recognize them from the NORCECA Final 6 (either that or the Men’s Pan American Cup) Most notable absences are Eshenko, Hoag, Van Berkel, Szwarc, Demyanenko, Loeppky… hopefully they’ll be back for Worlds.

Hopefully she’s taking a break from the NT for the summer and will be back for Worlds, and it isn’t injury related.

Rosters are out for Women’s VNL! No Alexa Gray… guess she’s taking the summer off from the NT, but hopefully we’ll see her back for World Championships. Van Ryk, Maglio, and Johnson better step it up in her absence because that’s one of our top two attackers.
