    Stuff like BMX never gets shown on TV here so they don't even have "experts" for it. The road cycling gets covered by former cyclists and two veteran journalists on Eurosport and standard sport journalists on TVP if neccessary.

    @Werloc@Federer91It's the last week of the school in Poland so everyone is just waiting for the summer break and don't bother with any organized school trips to events like this.

    I'm just waiting for IOC to pull the mythical "new fans" attraction card in order to justify killing off ski jumping and nordic combined. Ice skateboarding would probably be urban enough to be viewed as better replacement - though technially slopestyle is skateboarding on skis already so maybe not. In the near future WOG will probably be held in Saudi Arabia or somewhere in the Middle East and the funny thing is those sheiks could actually afford to build a completely useless ski jumping hill which would be used 3-4 times and then swiftly dismantled.

    Ski jumping is shrinking with every season. Finland and Czech Republic are dead in the sport and minnows will always be minnows. I'm not surprised team event has been cut down to duets, FIS has no idea how to inject life into this sport and the recent cutdown of team quota in World Cup is pure desperation hoping that minnows will suddenly score points if Top 6 nations will have fewer eligible athletes. I wonder when ski jumping will be axed from the Olympics and replaced by breakdance on snow/ice?

    beats 3-2 from 0-2 down at half-time. This is probably the most embarrassing defeat for Polish NT in XXI century, even eclipsing the home defeat to Latvia in Euro 2004 qualifiers.

    Well, the stadium is located within a huge Silesian Park so there will always be a lot of people outside in the summer Those prople will probably come when Division I rolls along during the weekend.

    Yeah, plus the athletics is held at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów so everything is in place from the professional standpoint. You almost can't screw the coverage up even if you tried.

    That's a major shock as I didn't expect her back problems to be as serious. She will always have that insane 2021 season (mostly the second half of it) culminated by the YEC final.

    Not really a surprise even though he was fired after four months on the job. Mexico looks to be going through their weakest period in the last 30 years at least. Wouldn't be a surprise if they didn't make the Gold Cup final either.

    Well, US media have speculated already some teams will overpay a few centers now and try to find a poor man's Jokić for lack of better word. And we'll see if scouting European leagues becomes trendy again now that more & more March Madness "one & done" heroes just don't hit out of the gate anymore.

    Katie Boulter wins Nottingham 250 over Jodie Burrage 6-3 6-3. This is only the second time in the last 20 years a player has won WTA title without having to face an opponent ranked inside Top 130 in the world

    It's also part of a bigger picture IMO. With every team seemingly playing the 3pt small ball these days, a team that actually fields an old school center as #1 player can have a clear advantage. There are some good defenders left but most teams apply the "we can outscore then rather than stop them" logic. It's clearly the case with Mavericks. We'll see if more teams will try to copy the Nuggets concept but the center basically has to play like a few inches taller Larry Bird (which Jokic does IMO) to find such success...
