Ok, so I guess federation didn't want to create special rules for a single athlete no matter how promising she is but overall they have mismanaged it more IMO. It's rather obvious any parent will always support their child first. Well, we lived through Caroline Wozniacki representing Denmark and there was some talk if she could switch to Poland early on but she said no since she lived her entire life in Denmark anyway.
