  1. Monika Hojnisz is set to return after almost three years out and will compete in Arber.
  2. Andrzej Stękała announced he's homosexual and his partner died in November
  3. Noriaki Kasai beat every Polish ski jumper in the Continental Cup last weekend
  4. Very probable we'll have more than in the second round
  5. I've send my Stage 1 votes
  6. Kamil Stoch was left at home for Four Hills (could rejoin for the Austrian part) and Dawid Kubacki bombed out in Oberstdorf quals.
  7. In a second or third area? In countries that are located on different continents? Bad idea. Let's see how the 2030 World Cup goes and how disadvantaged teams that will play in South America before flying back to Europe will be.
  8. Exactly. UEFA tried this pan-European hosting idea with Euro 2020 and it proved to be a disaster not only from a logistics view. Safe to say that idea won't be brought back for decades again.
  9. Zero snow & rain over here. But I enjoyed the eating part
  10. I know TV is king but this is ridiculous. It's not 1956 anymore (and I still don't know why Australia didn't allow horses from other continents to enter).
  11. Hail to the Reds... Commanders. First time since 1991 Washington QB has thrown 5 TD passes in a game (which isn't all that improbable in the modern game alas Dan Snyder...)
  12. Tschofenig & Hoerl take 1-2 today and close in on Paschke who had a bad day.
  13. Selina Grotian is the 6th youngest World Cup winner among women (20yo 8 months). Elin Kristiansen remains the youngest at 19yo 6 months (Anterselva 1988 sprint). Magdalena Neuner is the only other athlete to win before turning 20yo (19yo 11 months). Uschi Disl (20yo 1 month), Svetlana Davidova (20yo 3 months) & Martina Glagow (20yo 4 months) were also younger.
  14. Could be the waxing on the last lap fresh snow. Auchentaller, Wierer & Trabucci all fell off on the last lap and basically had the slowest skiing time there? Overall though you have a problem, days of prime Wierer & Vittozzi won't be repeated soon but then I hear the same issues in alpine skiing where there is a huge gap behind Brignone & Bassino (the latter being 28 years old already). And someone claimed Colturi would have plateau'd if she stayed with the Italian federation as well.
  15. Fialkova had to have the fastest skiing time? She made up 8 seconds in the last km on Richard. Probably the fresh falling snow rendered some waxing more suitable than others.
  16. First Top 10 for Zografski since 2018
  17. Yeah, excluding the Macuga girl (who is relative newcomer) Vonn still beat all the "veteran" US skiers which doesn't really put them in a great light (and only one of them was barely within one second of Vonn).
  18. Lampic could have contended for the pursuit podium even with five misses but six was one too many. Grotian had a ski binding failure on the first lap
  19. There's Polsat Sport but I also watch streaming.
  20. A three man breakaway in ice hockey? This would look bad in football let alone here
  21. A successful fair catch free kick last night for the Chargers. Last time it happened was 1976 and nine misses since then.
  22. Could be new PB for Kocergina in 25th @Werloc
  23. First career podium for Lampic basically confirmed Kamila Żuk with a rare Top 10 with 10/10.
  24. Full Euro 2025 finals draw. with the hosts' luck, they avoided all the tougher teams from Pot 2 & 3. with the easier QF vs Group A runner-up. Runner-up from Group D could hope for in SF but first they'd have to probably beat in QF
