Next stop, Denmark! The voting window for the nationa juries is now officially closed. After an intenste voting window for the national juries, they can now sit back and relax for some days. Those national juries who have submitted their votes in time have each received a ticket to Odense, Denmark for TOISC 2019. Unfortunately not all the jury members could make it in time for the trip. A rumour goes that the jury members, @LDOG, @KingOfTheRhinos, @titicow, @stefanbg, @Canada4thewin, @Jan Linha, @thepharoah, @Janakis, @Gianlu33, @DaniSRB, @justony and @Olympian1010 went out last night to get a few drinks at a bar. I know what you are all thinking, somehow somebody thought that @Olympian1010 was at or above the legal drinking age. They must have been drunk. The rumour says the night was pretty calm and quiet until the famous, or in this case, infamous Séamus came by. Many of the jury members were happy to see him, but as it always turns out when you're around Séamus, the drinks start to flow. Witnesses describe some wild scenes with terrible loud singing and some pretty intense discussion between some members. After some time the jury members and Séamus were kick out of the bar because many of the jury member where either too drunk or too loud. Some members went home, others continued their night out. The last the organizing committee have heard is that many of the jury members overslept which caused them to miss the flight. Usually a organizing committee would not accept such behavior, but in this case it was only rumoured that some jury members went out last night. Others have explained traffic issues were the reason for their absent at the airport today. The organizing committee has decided to give all the jury members, who missed the flight, a second chance. Tomorrow, another flight will go Denmark and the organizing committee is willling to pay the tickets for the jury members, so they can come to Denmark. The organizing committee hopes such episodes, or more specfic, rumours of such episode will not occur during the TOISC 2019 in Odense, but from former experiences something will likely happen... Lastly, the organizing host committee looks forward to welcome all jury members to Denmark when they arrive at the airport today and tomorrow. -

To no suprise, as an European nation we was of course involved in a few wars and conflicts around 1812 and our kingdom was on its way to a state bankruptcy. Great times... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Wars_(Scandinavia) Besides, USA/the former colonies of America had a reputation of not paying their debt to those nations which supported them during conflicts. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quasi-War I'm aware we have gone a bit off topic. -

I knew I would get in trouble for writing that. I'm very sorry for what I wrote. My punishment will be my trying to pronounce "lentokonesuihkuturbiiniapumekaanikkoaliupseerioppilas" correctly. For those who are curious, in English it means "jet engine assistant mechanician non-commissioned officer". Let me take a wild guess and say, Khanty-Mansiysk, or as one speaking Khanty would call the town/city "Ёмвоҷ, Yomvoḉ" and in Mansi "Абга, Abga" You are really a polyglot, Vojtas! It's been long since I last practiced Hungarian. Three years ago I lived with a girl from Slovakia, she was Slovak-Hungarian, so I tried to learn some Hungarian from her. But to no one's suprise, Hungarian is very difficult to learn. She lost her patience with me after some time. At least I tried, but English was just a much easier language to use between each other. Funny you have learned Hungarian, but Finnish don't have you interest? Did you get too frustrated with learning Hungarian that you didn't want to learn another Uralic language? If you one day try to learn Icelandic I will say good luck. Hopefully you will survive the madness of this language.

Why? There are two stories behind my username. Firstly, the inspiration for my username comes from a Danish comic strip named WuMo. It's a abbreviation of the surnames of the two men behind the comic strip, comedian, Mikael Wulff, and illustrator, Anders Morgenthaler. Their daily comic strip is posted here in English: https://www.gocomics.com/wumo/2019/10/05. It's mostly dark humour. Maybe you like these two: http://wumo.com/wumo/2017/11/04 http://wumo.com/wumo/2018/07/13 Secondly, I watched a lot of sumo wrestling on Eurosport when I was younger. It was so cool! When I wanted to create an account for Youtube the name Sumo was already taken, so my younger self thought, what rhymes with Sumo and then Wumo came up. I used to have the username, Mushroom5690. I have always liked Toad from Super Mario and he was a mushroom so it made sense. 5690 is the postal code for the town where I was born. However many people thought that mushroom referred to "magic mushrooms". I dropped it after that.

I do. At the moment I try to learn Chinese, or more specific, Mandarin. The course I have spend most time doing is Dutch. I also do courses in Spanish, French and Hungarian. Some other languages I consider begin learning are Russian and Polish.

@hckosice First of all, this is my personal experience. Speaking: I will say not all Swedish is easy to understand. Personally I can understand most Swedes from the Southern part of the country. It's become more difficult the more north you travel up in Sweden. I do understand most Norwegian, but some of the dialects in the Western parts of the country are very difficult to understand. Written: It's much easier to understand written Swedish and Norwegian for me. Swedish is probably a bit more diffucult to understand written than Norwegian. However, two points about written Norwegian. Norwegian can be separated into two categories: Bokmål (Book language) and Nynorsk (New Norwegian). Bokmål is 95-100% intelligible with Danish, but Nynorsk is much lower. It has to be said that most written Norwegian is in Bokmål, so I have no issue reading it. The other Nordic languages, Finnish, (I'm not really sure if it is considered a Nordic language officially. Uralic langugage is probably more correct), Icelandic, Faroese are so faaaar from Danish. Though, I can pronounce Eyjafjallajökull correctly according to those Icelanders I have spoken with

I know you are all joking about the drama inside the Danish jury, but I have to state that according to the rules of TISC you must send your votes to all members of the host organizing committee. SECTION 3 - NATIONAL JURY VOTING: 3. (a) National juries may consist of a single jury member OR a multi-member jury made up of two or more users from that nation. 3. (b) National juries must send their votes in SECRET (via private message) to the host organising member(s) of the song contest as requested during the designated voting window. 3. (c) Each jury member in a multi-member jury shall send their individual preferences in SECRET (via private message) to the host organising member(s). The votes from each of the members of the multi-member jury will be combined to form a single set of votes which will represent the overall voting preference of that national jury. In this way, the votes from each of the participating national juries, whether single or multi-member juries, will hold equal value or weight. To make it easy, just send one private message where you include both me, Wumo, and Agger in it, instead of sending two separate. -

The Host jury has cast its votes: Now it's time for the rest of the world to do the same October 08, 2019 - Another step towards Denmark 2019 has been taken. The Host jury has sent its votes for 2019 TOISC to Totallympics Admin, Sindo, to confirm the votes of the Host jury are valid and in accordance with the rules of TISC. The Host jury expects their votes to be in good hands at Sindo. When one has a profile picture of Walter White, you expect that person be trustworthy and have high moral standards. As the voting window has closed for the Host jury, it's now open for the the National juries. The National juries must submit their votes via PM to both of the members of the Organizing/Host Committee, Agger and Wumo: Here is the voting template for TOISC 2019: VOTES 12 points 11 points 10 points 9 points 8 points 7 points 6 points 5 points 4 points 3 points 2 points 1 point RESERVES 1st Reserve 2nd Reserve 3rd Reserve 4th Reserve The Host Committee would prefer the jurors to only write the names of the countries, or the flags, of the songs they would like to vote for. However, you can also write the name of the song and artist/s if you want. If there are any new jury members who are not sure what the purpose of the reserves are, you can contact Wumo or Agger via PM. Jury members don't have to use the voting template. It would be acceptable if they just write a top 12 themselves. Example: 1. Country A - 12 points 2. Country B - 11 points 3. Country C - 10 points and so forth... As stated above, the voting window for the National juries is now open for the next 10 days. National juries must have sent their votes to Wumo and Agger before the deadline, Friday, October 18th, 22:00 (CEST) in order to confirm the participation of their respective entries at this year’s Grand Final. Those nations failing to submit their votes before the deadline will forfeit their participation and will not make it to Odense, Denmark for TOISC 2019. With all that said, there is now only thing left to say: "Europe, start voting now!" Ups, wrong song contest... We mean, "Totallympics, let the voting begin!" #2019TOISC #TogetherWeMakeItPossible
