  2. During the weekend, became the first country to vote. Remember, we still have more than a week before the deadline! Meanwhile, let's continue with our posts of traditional music styles of Spain. Muñeira "Muñeira" is a traditional folk dance and music style from Galicia, a region in northwest Spain. It is one of the most important cultural elements of the Galician people and is characterized by its upbeat rhythm and lively style. The muñeira is usually performed by couples, who dance in a lively, energetic manner to the accompaniment of Galician bagpipes (gaita), flutes, and other traditional instruments. The dance is characterized by its quick footwork, stamping, and twirling movements, as well as its intricate hand gestures and turns. The muñeira is considered an important part of Galician culture and is often performed at cultural events, festivals, and other social gatherings. It is a symbol of the region's rich musical heritage and is recognized as one of the most iconic and recognizable forms of Spanish dance.

  4. Got through my first pack. Not quite what I hoped for but decently happt (hoped for men's rugby finals or men's golf considering what I heard about availability). Feels nice to get some rugby and athletics and the volleyball session is decent and leaves room for something later the same day (well, it does mean no 20 km race walk for me) 30.07 - Rugby Sevens - Women's medals session 01.08 - Volleyball - Women's early match 06.08 - Athletics - Morning session May log in tomorrow to see if I'm lucky to get something that others had in the basket while I checked.

  5. This is the one in English, I think other languages might have a voice-over (Dutch Eurosport doesn't for English, German does, for example). https://www.eurosport.nl/langlaufen/wereldkampioenschappen/2022-2023/wk-planica-moura-verongelukte-bijna-onderweg-naar-winterspelen-maar-is-helemaal-terug_sto9437225/story.shtml

  6. So, before this, I took tennis for 29 july and on 31 july beach volleyball. It was my must have. But... I am going with my friend, She likes athletics, fencing and etc. So our choices are finals for wrestling (6 august), canoe slalom (8 august) and womens voleyball (1 august). I am happy it is a chance for seeing polish medal in women's K4. I still miss men's voleyball.

  8. The Brazilian federation asked for a short statement from her about Sunday's team sprint, we kind of had to remind them that she nearly died a year ago, because no word about a comeback or anything was mentioned in any article or something from them...so at least now it's mentioned in their team sprint article (because we reminded them about it) https://cbdn.org.br/brasil-participa-do-team-sprint-no-mundial-de-cross-country/ I think they are rather underestimating the whole thing

  11. in the past few weeks, rumors about Clarisse Agbegnenou switching to have got stronger and stronger. the reason behind this is, as often happens, about economical aspects. Agbegnenou, in fact, has a personal technical sponsor (Mizuno), meanwhile the French National team is of course under contract with Adidas. now the French Federation wanted Agbegnenou wear Adidas judogi in her comeback appearance after her maternity leave after Tokyo 2020, but the double Olympic champion refused to do it, saying that she hasn't trained enough with that judogi to wear it also in competition. but the French Federation left her without any coach on mat side in Tel Aviv (and she lost 2 of the 4 bouts for the first time since 2017) and threatened to leave her out of the team for the next World Championships and above all, out of the Olympic team. therefore, the great Clarisse, despite her will, has to think about a plan B, which leads to switching to the African Nation her family is from. personally, I think everything will be fixed quite soon and nothing strange is gonna happen, but if it happens...
