I do think events like the madison (and points race) really, really need the graphics to go to 2019 instead of stay 20 years behind. How hard can it be to have a live leaderboard on-screen (for example a column on the left) all race?

It's 160 km at WCh level. However, the distance is divided into several different loops (20-40 km long) which all start and finish in the main stadium.
