SLOVENIA I believe this is first time in history of TISC contest, you can vote among musician for an athlete, and not some kind of athlete, but an Olympic Champion. Firstly, Tina Maze is known as best sportswoman of all time in our country. Former alpine skier took two Olympic gold medals in Sochi 2014, two Olympic silver in Vancouver 2010, become 4 times World champion and won World cup Overall title in 2013 with a record breaking 2414 points. There were hard times for Tina, before she became worldwide known. She was injured a lot, her confidence was at bottom, before she met Andrea Massi. You know the rest. This song is her only single, and it was released a day before her first race of, what was later discovered, her record season. It got very mixed reception, mostly due to her poor results in the past. People thought, she is mocking of her career and she will never be able to win again (well, guess again :P). Song title says everything - "My Way is My Decision". It is a song about Tina's courage to step forward, and doing what she does best in her own way, something not quite usual for average Slovenian. Authors are Raay (part of Eurovision duo Maraaya), Matjaž Jelen (lead singer of established Slovenian band Šank Rock) and Charlie Mason (co-writer of winning Eurovision song "Rise Like a Phoenix"). I, for one, am totally in agreement with bestmen's rampage Kick Amsterdam out/make them independent (and while they're at it, take Rotterdam and The Hague too, and Utrecht as well), let Friesland (the northern province) become independent because they're weird anyway and kick Limburg (the southern province) out as well since they're not even Dutch apparently, they sound more like Belgians or even, God forbid, Germans. Iako jesi u pravu,cinjenica je da je Ilic najodgovorniji za katastrofalno stanje u veslanju. Predsjednici su se mijenjali,cak i treneri,jedino je on konstanta. I sta je uradio? Svi smo slozni,bas nista. Od sporta koji je imao podjednaku ako ne i vecu perspektivu od kajaka dobili smo sport u kome na OI idemo kao turisti. Komparacijom ova dva sporta imamo.uvid koliko se lose ili dobro radilo. Kajak 2008 bez takmicara a sad imamo po 10 njih i jednu medalju. Za Tokio su sanse realne i za koju vise. Veslanje sa druge strane, 2-6 takmicara,nijedan rezultat vrijedan paznje jos od dvojca iz 2000. Trening nije isti,ali makar su principi slicni. E tu dolaze do izrazaja treneri,da procijene sta ne valja a ovi nasi lutaju i to godinama. Recimo,Iva Obradovic je setala od skifa,dubl skula do dvojca i od 2008 nije bila na velikoj sceni,a talenat nije da nije imala. Sada se isto uradilo sa dvojcem. Mijenja se stroker a rezultat nikad gori. Ovolika razlika za Sinkovicima,sramota. Od njih su morali da budu znacajno bolji. Nije cak ni to problem,ima vremena do Tokia,ali sta se desilo sa timom koji je imao svjetsku medalju u Riu? Niko nije snosio odgovornost za to. Dubk skul koji je imao potencijal je rasturen. Zensko veslanje ni ne postoji. Forsiraju se nebitni SK gdje nastupi C liga pa se onda hvale medaljom. Na bilo kom jakom SK osim dvojca i to ponekad,niko ne moze ni u finale. Pred Rio smo na SP u Ozibejeu imali laki skif,totalni nonsens. Da li znaju da je to rasipanje resursa na gluposti? I tako dalje i dalje... spisak gresaka i krivica je jako dug a onaj ko to treba da rijesi cuti. Umjesto da imamo savez koji salje na OI 20+ takmicara i koji moze da cilja medalje imamo organizaciju koja je zadovoljna da nekako,na jedvite jade,posalje posadu dvije,a potom da obrazlaze neuspjehe stanjem na stazi i slicno... I nista se nece promijeniti ni sada...
