Switzerland and Germany are almost permanent fixtures here, and they too failed to qualify. Besides, the field has been reduced from 24 to 22 duets.

Last time Germany qualified for the Olympics was 1992.

Right. Germany. But Switzerland still qualified every time save 1996.

 

And with 22 duets on board, Slovakia would not have qualified in 2016 either.

Because they were the 23rd qualifiers out of 24 teams.

Those girls represent are really from  or they moved here from other country like Marc Girardelli in case of  ?
