WKF announces the continental quotas

and that's completely different than mine !!!

https://www.wkf.net/news-center-new/olympians-confirmed-karates-olympic-debut/1598

I have to check things when I have the time but it seems they had different ranking for each weight (I mean not a combined ranking for 50kg and 55kg)

terrible news for me that :IRI Alipour is not going to qualify ! and both +61kg quotas are filled now

*Pretends to be shocked*

Hate it when IFs do this. Is there any explanation that would make sense for the names announced?

I think those cheating fakeugee athletes don't count, they are special extra quotas.

Which means 5 athletes will need to fight an extra match? Unfair if you ask me.

:MKD May get a tripartite. Then maybe Bimala Tamang, Asian Games bronze medallist :NEP

Even :MNE could get 1 again can't say.   Not sure about the 4th quota

    • Interesting, for only 2 months i think i have seen some kind of coin from all of the big countries - Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, France, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Ireland and yes the 2 euro from Croatia. But some of them were the smaller ones, 10, 5, 2 cents.    Expectedly there aren't any from the smaller countries so far. Nothing from the Baltics, Cyprus, Slovenia, Malta, Andorra etc. But also a bit surprising i haven't seen any from Greece yet.    Don't know from what part of Italy are you, but it's safe to say that when summer hits there will be a lot of Bulgarians visiting Rome, so i'm sure they'll bring some of our coins to spread around.
    • I choose to collect only coins in circulation (and I have also found coins in circulation that should not be on the market; you can find a bit of everything). From my experience, it takes 4-5 years for coins to reach southern Italy, so I have no idea how it will work in Bulgaria. Incidentally, I am curious to see when I will see my first Bulgarian coin. I have not yet seen a Croatian coin (introduced in 2023!).
    • Yes, i saw that there are a lot of commemorative coins. But to get some of those, i would need to buy them, as i don't know how much of them are in circulation. And the chances of such making it to Bulgaria are rather slim.    Still, if i find some sports ones on a good price, maybe i will order a few.

    • Don't know if someone else is collecting Euro coins, but since we joined the zone it's been fun looking at what you can get.    It took only 2 months, but today i finally got my first Slovakian coin.  @hckošice
