There will be three boats still chasing Olympic qualification for the Dutch: W8, W2- en M2-. I hope the women's eight will qualify after their 2nd place at the European championship!

:CAN team

M1X - Trevor Jones - first senior competition for him, former two time world champion in the U-23 age category in this event, would like for him to qualify

LM2X Maxwell Lattimer and Patrick Keane -  9th in 2019 Worlds, should qualify here, if they row like they did in 2019

M4- Will Crothers, Jakub Buczek, Luke Gadsdon, Gavin Stone, the four survivors from the purge of the men's eights from 2019. Gadsdon didn't compete in 2019 either. Hoping for the best.

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
    • Here's my calculations of the quotas. I believe you are correct about Italy having 3 quotas in men's singles.   Men's Singles   3 Quotas: 2 Quotas: 1 Quota:   data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAPABAP///wAAACH5BAEKAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw==   Women's Singles   3 Quotas: 2 Quotas: 1 Quota:     Men's Doubles   2 Quotas: 1 Quota:     Women's Doubles   1 Quota:
