Have we any options left?

Holstein, Rawlins and Connor are qualified. They are enough to form a team, but I have no idea why the Irish selector did not mention Connor in a recent interview.

Merveldt can perhaps jump back if her horse shows improvement within the next couple of weeks.

It may have just been a slip of the tongue/mind. Euro dressage mention the three when talking about Dwyer's pregnancy recently

It could be.

At any rate, this shows a definite intent on Connor's side to aim for the Olympics, as he fixed his horse's passport just before the deadline for the original Olympics (he lives in Italy and has competed for them previously).

Saying that, this was before the whole pandemic thing, so we could still be missing some info.

:MAS Qabil Ambak - 64%. Malaysia is officially passé.

Low scores on piaffes, pi-pa transitions, one tempis.

Quota is now assigned to Singapore, at least until 15:55.

:SGP Caroline Chew 69.674% :hyper:

Personal best, national record, and waaaay above the required 66%. That's how it's done. First ever YOG oath presenter becomes a full Olympian.

India can still take up the first reserve spot if either Vora or Agarwalla deliver.

:IND Agarwalla 66.935% :hatoff: As a reserve, he will probably go to Aachen for the quarantine.

It is confirmed now - Individual dressage

:BER:MAS -1

:CHI:SGP +1

Just for Group G.

Thats what I thought. Nevertheless, 1 qualifier and 1 reserve is much more than expected.

Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
