I understand absolutely nothing in this system of tqo

France is qualified for either the Olympics or the OQT (a tournament with six teams and one Olympic quota on the line) depending on whether or not they finish in the top 2 among European teams.

24 teams in OQTs will fight for 4 places. I find it also excessive.

For me the best formula would be this :

16 teams that will be selected from all continents according to their FIBA ranking with below countries number/continent

# Europe- 6

# Americas- 5

# Asia- 2

# Africa--2

# Oceania--1

Our federation president stated that Greece will bid to host an OQT. They had already made the budget calculation for this as he said

When will be the draw? I assume no more than 3 european teams can be in the same group. Also, I see FIBA changed the date of tournaments taking place to the end of June, which could cause problems considering NBA free agency is at that time.

Do you know which Croatian players might be affected? I know Saric contract expires. I hope Phoenix makes him an offer soon to prolong
