Malta was held by a Muslim kingdom or Ottoman Empire for a time, if my understanding of Maltese history is correct. Haven’t read about it in a while though.

GBR take the lead in the medal table with 2 of the 4 individual Gold medals in this WC stage...USA and FIN follow with the remaining Gold medals (1 each, of course)...

 

for Italy, instead, this has been a week to forget as soon as possible...nothing has gone the right way and all our shooters, except for Gabriele Rossetti, underperformed badly...

Finally a podium in Malta after two 6th places of Sykorová in Skeet and Rehák-Štefečeková in Trap. Well done Marián. In other side still very poor form and performances from Erik Varga,

Yes,undoubtedly. His PB is 117 but he finished 60th or something while achieving it.
