I feel huge disappointment of vinesh loss is covered by brilliant hockey victory.

 

For now we can celebrate hockey medal after 41 years!!

Vinesh has continued the trend of all indian world no.1's (Amit, Deepika, n no of shooters) losing in initial rounds....

 

I hope she gets into repechage rounds!!!

My point exactly. All of our pre-event favourites have not done well.. not adding Deepika there.

Vinesh looked slow, weak...all her attacking moves got countered rather easily. Maybe she had some physical difficulties like an injury or some illness

That seems a bit jumping the gun to me. Although Deepak's bronze is very much assured. But by no means is Ravi's gold assured. Russians always find a way to beat you.

Yes it was not expected.. Hope she maintains good run in next 2 rounds.

Yes in this of euphoria of hockey team winning and disappointment of Vinesh's performance, there is Aditi Ashok who is in tied in 2nd after two rounds. Hope she doesn't repeat Rio where she tied in 8th spot after 2 round but then shot 8 over par in the third round effectively ruining medal chances. Still fingers crossed for her
