 Canada could have won that game if the coach would’ve held the runner at 3rd base.  USA didn’t get timely hits today. They left too many runners on base. Not a convincing win, but a win is a win. I’m interested to see what  Japan does in a bit.

Let's hope USA's pitching would stay true against Japan while its hitting will improve as the tournament goes along.

I mention here is as well because I think there were complaints about this here earlier: softball is now live on Eurosport 1, not just on the Eurosport Player. I don't know why they waited until the 5th match, but better late then never.

A volunteer just got hit with a foul ball right in the thigh. Very close to the nuts.  threatened with an early double, but nothing came from it.
