I’m expecting an amazing debate between Bernie and Bloomberg. I also can’t wait to see how Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Biden, and Warren factor into that fight. If I had to guess:

Bloomberg goes after Sanders’ supporters known as “Bernie Bro’s” (internet trolls)

Sanders goes after Bloomberg’s wealth and “stop and frisk”

Overall, if the debate gets “fun”, it will show the true divide between moderates, liberals, and progressives (and that would be so, so awesome).

I do think this infighting only increases Trump’s chance of victory. Battle lines are being drawn. Moderates won’t support Sanders, and progressives won’t support any but. People will rally around the winner, but will their still be enough energy to beat Trump?

I feel like you're using liberal as liberally as the conservatives in the US use socialist or communist...

I could have used the word progressive too :p  You're from Scandinavia so you think sociallism is a good thing, right? It seems like majority of Scandinavia is ruled by the democratic sociallists but hey, I'm from Poland and sociallism is the evil of years gone by :bye:

USA has never been ruled by a sociallist or a communist so these Sanders fanboys have no idea what they wish for IMO.

I've said this like seven-eight months ago. I guess you've seen the light now? The only one profiting from Dems in-fighting is Trump. Warren and Klobuchar should be cut as dead weight long before the Iowa primary. It was a Biden vs Sanders race with Bloomberg as the spoiler. Buttigieg was a nice gay candidate from a small town story but if he's drawing dead among the blacks and Latinos then he's a sitting duck in the big picture. No Dems candidate can ever win an election without the ethnic minorities support IMO.

Sanders and democratic party in USA can't go so far (in left in political spectrum) than being just liberals. Just a mediocre centre

In non-US political news (I know, shocking), Afghanistan has their first governing crisis under the new democratic system. Ghani won re-election (for a third term I believe) with 50% of the vote, Abdullah Abdullah (yes, that’s his name) came in second with 30%. Afghanistan’s independent election commission has confirmed the results (and I believe they are the legitimate results). Today, Abdullah declares himself president and formed his own cabinet. So I’m short, Afghanistan currently controls 40-50% of it’s own territory, and now has two presidents.

Not really. I don't recall USA having ration stamps during peacetime like Poland between 1976-1989 :mumble:

Interesting. Our first “let’s change the borders” initiative this year. As much has I hate the part of California they’re trying to take, they’ll have a fight on their hands to get it. We’ve already killed Jefferson succession multiple times.

Then again, I’m the one who wants a vote on Californian independence from the US...

This part of Oregon and California is essentially still in the 1930s. It’s probably the least developed parts of the United States. It’s home to many extreme religious groups, and other “crazies”.
